I am a nail technician myself and going to nails spas makes me nervous. Cleanliness and sanitation are really important to me. That being said I feel extremely confident in my decision to frequent @nails for my pedicures. Their implements are always taken from an autoclave sterilization pouch and the tubs have a plastic disposable liner to prevent contamination between clients. They have very comfortable massage chairs and a good assortment of complimentary beverages. I always go for a mimosa I saw Henry the first time I went and have stuck with him. He is great at really cleaning up my corners to prevent ingrown toenails. I can’t speak for other technicians but everyone seems so friendly, I really enjoy my time there. Give them a try!

Horrible experience! Worst customer service from one of the employees yelling at me because I wanted to get these acrylic nails removed and wanted a refund! My nails look so thick and sloppy overall. Eventually when I got someone to remove them (the next day), the employee filed my nails down so much that my natural nail cracked. I was unable to do anything to my nails afterwards because they were very sensitive with any temperature of water or when trying to perform any basic daily tasks. Very poor quality of work! DO NOT GO HERE! You’re better off going elsewhere.

Terrible experience. I went to get my dip nail polish off and the lady took them off by digging her nail under mine to get them off. It was gross, unhygienic, and hurt a lot. It took about five minutes for her to rip off all of my nails then they charged me $20 dollars for the service. My nails are so damaged and weak now. It is now 12 hours later and my nails are still in pain. I have never experienced this type of pain before where if I just bump my nail I feel aggressive pain. They wouldn’t budge and it was $20 for the terrible five minute service. I could have ripped my nails off myself if I wanted to damage them. I thought I was doing it proper going into the salon to get them removed. Thanks for ruining my nails.

I enjoy getting my nails done by Tim or Michael. This salon is friendly, clean and consistent! The quality of their craft is next level. I prefer the Foothill shop over the one off of LVR.

What a joke, I’m furious! I booked my mom an appt for 12/26 at 2pm. Clearly you have no respect for appointments, she waited 45 mins until walking out. My mom is my dad’s caretaker and she can’t be gone for long since he is suffering from cancer/brain tumor. The front desk told my mom she should have called? I’m sorry but if your website is wonky, why accept appointments online? I can’t believe you didn’t even offer her a discount or complimentary nail service for a future appt. I feel awful for her to have a chance to get her nails done and only to be screwed by your awful establishment.

I asked to get flowers on my nails and you could say I received “flowers” but they are not very pretty. When you pay for a manicure with nail art you expect the technician to spend more then 20 minutes with you. I would not recommend going to @ Nails if you want nail art, you will spend $50 for something you could do yourself. Gel manicures, Nail art

Poor quality, I got gel nails on Monday and they had already started peeling by the second day. Pictures are on a Friday night of the same week. I’ve gotten gel multiple times and I have never had it this bad. You can tell by the growth that I haven’t had these for a long time and usually my gel nails at other salons have lasted 2+ weeks (and looked decent)! I work in an office so there is no reason for the extra wear and tear. I’m very disappointed. I have always gone to the @nails by Los Osos Valley Road and they have always been amazing. I guess I will continue going to that location and stay away from the @nails off Foothill.

Very poor experience overall. I came here a few weeks ago from out of town to get my wedding nails done with my mom. I told the front desk that I don’t get my nails done often, and showed them picture of what I wanted and asked how to order this. They told me the ombre french manicure set I wanted was a “pink & white”. This is what I requested and I ended up with a basic acrylic french manicure. On top of it, the job was rushed and the fill was uneven and the nails not uniform in shape. I got a pedi and acrylic set, and was done a FULL HOUR before my mom who got a basic mani/pedi. It was such a stressful week with travel and planning the wedding I just took the loss and didn’t file a complaint or have time to get them fixed before the big day. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but if you are a bride looking for stress-free and well-done nails for your event, please ask a local for a recommendation elsewhere!
