I was very excited to try this new nail salon but it ended up being the worst experience I’ve ever had!! I made an appointment for Friday 2/11/2022 for a pedicure and dip/gelle nails with nail art. My appointment was for 4pm and I walked into the location a few minutes before. I was greeted by a woman and asked what I wanted to get done, I told her I had an appointment and what my appointments were for and stated I had dip on my nails. She told me to have a seat and someone would come get me. I would say at 4:10pm a woman told me to get in the pedicure chair. Now this is when its starts getting weird. The lady literally took 2 hours and a half almost 3 hours doing my basic pedicure with dazzle nail polish (a fast drying nail polish). During that whole time I was clearly bothered but no one checked on me the whole time until towards the end of the second hour. At that point I was visibly aggravated. A woman asked me about my nails and I told her once again I had dip on my nails already, She then asked why I didn’t tell anyone and the lady that was doing my pedicure could have taken off the dip during my pedicure. I told her I did when I walked in then she responded oh yeah I forgot!! Anyway, my pedicure was finally done and I still had to wait for someone to do my nails. Once I finally sat in the chair with another woman she said oh there’s only 2 ppl that can do your nails we are really busy, mind you there were about 10 or more workers there. I literally just kept seeing clients come in and out. When my services were done it was 8:30pm!!! I spent 4 1/2 hours there. She took a few dollars off my services for the inconvenience but I still paid over $100. I was happy until my nails didn’t even last a week. Today is Thursday and I got them done 6 days ago. I’m very disappointed and will NEVER go back!! I’m not even bothering to call to ask to get a refund because I know how nail salons are.

This review is really overdue, but the amazing technicians at Nailosophy always kill it! I’ve gone here twice— the first time was my first time ever getting my nails done professionally and I had a great experience with Triny, who did nail extensions with ombré and really complicated nail art. I just showed her a photo and she did such a fantastic job free-handing the drawing. (See the first photo with butterfly wing design). I got compliments on my nails twice a day, not even exaggerating. The only thing that surprised me is how long it takes to do nails lol but it was good to know that they really take their time. Triny didn’t cut any corners and if she wasn’t happy with the way she did the design, she would adjust it.

My first manicure with Trinie was in July and I have only gone to her since. (square shape was first mani with Trinie in July, almond was today)

I really hate to do this because I was rooting for the business and have a lot of respect for the owners but my last two visits were atrocious. The time before this I waited 40 minutes even though I had an appointment. And this most recent time: I had acrylics removed and then a dip powder manicure. These services took 2.5 hours which isn’t typical that I’ve ever experienced anywhere else, it’s usually about an hour, sometimes 1.5. Two separate technicians that worked on my nails cut my cuticles and nail beds. All of the cuts you see on my fingers are from this nail salon. This is dangerous and unsanitary and I’m totally unsatisfied with the fact that I still had to pay for this. There was one apology for cutting my fingers after I winced from one technician. Sorry to say I won’t be returning.
