Omg the owner of this store is awful. She is so rude. She is all about money. She is awful at doing nails. Feel sorry for her daughter whom is clearly embarrassed about her mom. She even denies her mother. I do not blame her. If you want rude service this it’s the place to go. They deserve no stars. The energy of the place is absolutely negative.

The owner is extremely rude. I walked in and the lady told me they only do natural nail. The place is called nail bar. A suggestion would be to not false advertise a business. I told her I never heard of such place and I gave her the suggestion so others didn’t waste their time and she gave me a rude remark. If you look at the website it says “manicure services” which most would take as an acrylic nail spot. As an owner, you have to be able to take constructive criticism and feedback from how your business is marketed from a customer standpoint. I’m glad I didn’t give my money to this place and that woman.

The owner is extremely rude. I made a nail appointment and an eyebrow appointment, once they were done with my nails they said they “forgot” to turn on the wax warmer for me. I also made another appointment online for an eyebrow wax and requested a certain person, the owner said she would call me back and let me know if she was available since she books up quick. Never let me know. I called the next day to see if I could get in and she was extremely rude because I didn’t come for my appointment, only because she didn’t tell me if the person I requested was available. I’m picky about my eyebrows and don’t want just anyone doing it. She didn’t want to make me another appointment. I’m don’t with his salon. The owner needs to learn to be more organized and nicer. Oh just found out they charged me. What salon charges for not coming… it’s never busy there anyway. Will be contacting my credit card company.

I’m disappointed with the quality and professionalism of the services here. I got a gel manicure done 1 week ago and within 2 days the polish was already chipping on most of my nails. Every day since then, the gel started to peel off 5 of my nails! I’ve been out of town and just had a chance to go back in today to get them fixed but was gaslighted by the woman at the desk. She lied and said it’s been past their “10 day guarantee” time for gel and I should have called the moment my nails started chipping even if I was out of town. She also said even if they could fix them, there was no time to do it today. The polish was old or maybe it was the way my nails were done but the way the situation was handled after the fact made it clear that I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I moved to the suburbs from the city in January 2021 and have been going to nail bar at least once a month ever since. I was always impressed with their mani/pedis however I had the worst experience today. The manager refused to take me after making an appointment for a mani/pedi. She blamed the scheduling system and the time change, which is unacceptable. My original appointment was at 2:30 and she told me to come closer to 4. I originally said this was too late but decided to run errands to kill time. I show up at 3:45 and she looks at me like I’m crazy saying she cannot accommodate me and doesn’t apologize whatsoever. Let’s just say my loyalty is gone. For someone that drives 25 minutes from downers grove to make it out to the salon, I suppose it was time for me to find a salon where I’m treated well and that is closer. It is not worth the trip here to not be able to rely on scheduling system. The manager here really needs to learn respect. The nail techs are always lovely. You won’t have my business anymore. – Kristen

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityI had a great experience at this nail salon! They are all really nice there and did a great job on my pedicure. I got the special treatment and it was amazing!! The polish has stayed on a really long time which is great since it wasn’t even gel. The atmosphere was great as well. Very clean and cute.
