I have tried many different nail technicians but I have finally found my home! Christine as been doing my nails for 6 months and I couldn’t be happier. Not only do I love the way they look, but I also get many compliments. She takes pride in her work and my nails show it!

They are supposed to open at 10 on Saturdays. I was there 2 minutes to 10 and no one was there. A woman showed up at 10:10 and unlocked the door; flipped on the open sign. I walked in and was greeted with a look as if I shouldn’t be there. I was told to pick my color while she started the water for my pedicure and walked away. So I sat down. I couldn’t put my feet in as the water was scalding. A man walked in and sat down to start my pedicure thankfully he cooled the water. He was nice but was seemed like he was rushing even though I was the only customer the entire time I was there (maybe 40 minutes). The same lady that opened the place spent her time sweeping up old nails and dust while wearing a face mask. Mind you, if she would have shown up timely, she could have cleaned before opening. Or cleaned the night before. An hour after I left my nails were still not dry and on one nail the polish peeled off. A few other toes were damaged as well. So now after spending money on a pedicure I have to redo my nails at home. Something I didn’t want to do. I will never go back to this establishment.

It was my first time at Nail York and Nuong was my nail technician. I went with my daughter and requested a “French Pedicure” me and regular pedicure for my daughter. My nail technician Nuong had no clue about the shape or style for a French Pedicure. she cut my toe nails so short that it practically hurts. She didn’t know how to paint the French line either. It was super thick and crooked. I requested if one of the other technician can fix the paint. The ladies and owner kept talking to each other in their native language but even my 7 year old daughter sensed that they were talking bad about us.

Worst service I’ve ever had. I left here and my nails were not even. I simply asked for a hot rock pedicure and a manicure. The manager with the short hair and bumpy face aggressively handle my hands. The lady that did my toes started reminded me of prices several times. When she told me it was 65.00 for a hot rock pedicure I said ok. I could clearly tell the lady who did my toes had an additude because I had it. I guess from experience they expected me to change my mind about the services because of the price. It’s hard to believe that in 2018 people believe black women cant afford a mani and pedi in Hoffman Estates. I did not cause a scene when we were done even though she strong bodied me when asking for my card several times. I paid and left. To all my sisters that’s looking to get they nails done in Hoffman Estates, IL do not go to Nail York for us. Even if you have the funds the service is not good.

My fiance and I go here all of the time and we LOVE it! As a guy, I enjoy the relaxing pedicure (their massage chairs are awesome) and they offer a special hot wax treatment that keeps my feet in good shape for days. My girl gets all sorts of manicures and nail designs done and she looks gorgeous. Great salon and friendly owners!

I went there on Halloween. I wanted to get stiletto nails done. The man who did my nails,Simon, was receiving a pedicure from another employee so I had to wait a few minutes for him to get out of the chair and ready himself. It seemed like he rushed to get back to his pedicure. My nails are not shaped well, they are very thick so thick they hurt, and I was $35 when the brochure said $28. They also kept trying to get me to buy other services the entire time. Horrible experience, be warned and beware.

Stopped in while on vacation, very polite and friendly. They took their time with my family’s pedicures (there was 4 of us). Relaxing atmosphere, clean and good prices compared to back home. I wish i could come here regularily.

They changed management a few months ago and they are great now! Sophia is my girl and she is wonderful because she takes her time and is gentle. If you are in a rush, then the guys are a fantastic choice. Either way, i love that the place is clean, attractive, does NOT SMELL bad, people are friendly and great location. Give them a try! <3
