I have been a long time customer of Nail Trix, and after my most recent visit, I will never give them my business again. I have had a number of gel and dip gel manicures over the years, and got another dip gel manicure last weekend. The manicurist was very friendly during my visit and explained they should last 2-4 weeks. Within 48 hours, FOUR NAILS broke off while doing very normal daily activities. I was not abusing my nails. I called and explained I now live in the Boston area and cannot drive back to have the nails repaired, and asked for either a refund or a gift card for my mother, who is a local regular customer, even if it weren’t for the full $40 price tag of the nails. The lady I spoke to (interestingly, my manicurist) was EXTREMELY unprofessional, claiming the problem was obviously my short natural nails but then also saying I must have “done something” to them to make them fall off. She said they would do absolutely nothing for me, because they sell a “service” and thus it cannot be refunded. To be clear, a massage is a service, a manicure where you leave with a “product” (ie dip gel nails) is not a service, and should absolutely be considered for a partial or full refund. We have been regular customers for YEARS, it is downright appalling that the customer service was so poor. Within less than a week, EVERY. SINGLE. NAIL. has cracked off. Meanwhile, within a few hours of the first ones breaking, I had a few nails redone here in Boston and those have not cracked or broken at all, so it is clearly a botched job by Nail Trix. They’ve lost two dedicated customers, what a shame.

Critical: ValueCame here for a pedicure. A man that works here did my service. I walked in and there was a lady already getting a pedicure and I was done and walking out the door before she was done. Very rushed. My feet did not feel smooth or like he had done anything to them at all. I even had paid extra for one of the deluxe pedicures and the entire experience was probably about 15 minutes, most of which my feet just sat in the water. I would never go back. I used to come here all the time faithfully, now the quality of service has definitely gone down, especially in the fact that they tend to rush and the end result does not look as it should. My nails chip & break only a few days after getting them (GEL) The one guy there they always stick me with him and lately he has just not been putting his best work. The last time I was there they pulled off like 7 of my tips and replaced them even though i didn’t ask. Almost costed me $40. I will be going somewhere else from now on.

It’s pretty pricey here for 2 gel manicures. I also did not get the same manicure as my 12 year old niece did. She got cuticles cut and was well groomed and taken care of more than I was. A woman did her mani and a man did mine. I was not super thrilled bc I paid attention to the fact that I did not get the full blown manicure I expected…especially for the price.

Really poor experience. Only a few nail techs in on a Friday evening like they didn’t expect they would be busy. There were quite a few people waiting. The pedicure was short and poor quality. The guy didn’t cut my nails, only filed them and he filed them in a weird, unnatural shape, they almost look lumpy. They don’t put anything between your toes so my toes touched and smudged my polish. I almost never write reviews but this was a serious disappointment.

I am not the type to slander but after today’s services I would be doing others a disservice. Extremely disappointed is an understatement! Went for mani/pedi with my mother for Mother’s Day. My mother had Sunny – who she was extremely pleased with and took ample time/care with her. The gentleman who did my pedicure (name unknown) did a half assed job and seemed to rush (Salon was not busy mind you).

Customer service is not even remotely a priority in this salon. Believe me when I tell you that EVERY SINGLE one of my nails was filled crooked. When I asked the nail tech, politely, if he could fix them his response was that my fingers were crooked and he in fact filled them all straight. Odd…all of my nails were straight when I walked into the salon? He then proceeded to apply polish to my crooked nails. I saw a black hair on my thumb and brought it to his attention and he said it’s fine it’s just paper. Even if it wasn’t a hair, I don’t want something stuck to my polish. He left it. He then nudges my nail smudging the polish and simply “smoothing it out” with his finger. When I brought all of this to the managers attention she did nothing about it and refused to refund me my money I was forced to pay before he even finished…this place is a joke

I had a great experience today! I thought they closed at 8 but it was sat so they closed at 7. I showed up ten minutes to 7 and needed a fill. The owner stayed behind and did my nails she was so nice and I appreciated her so much because tomorrow am I’m going to go look at engagement rings and needed my nails done so bad!!!

I only gave the shop one star because I had to. This experience was my first and it was horrible. I went in for an acrylic fill and gel finish and was asked to pay $50. When I questioned my bill the tech laughed and asked the manager to explain to me the details and none of it added up. The manager heard my situation and offered to take $5 off the bill like that would make iy better. I’m unsatisfied with the end result of my nails and the service was terrible. I guarantee any other shop in the area is better.
