Nail Today

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI’m used to having my nails done by ppl who don’t speak English. But. This is a new level. Did not understand any simple nail related or basic communication like “cut down” “stop” “short” “pink” or “glitter.” That’s kind of ridiculous. Nobody around me could communicate with their tech, and I’ve tried these guys on 3 occasions and it just got worse each time. There are only two people out eight that can sort of translate. I observed them watching television so closely that they didn’t watch how they were filing down the lady next to me. They are all more into Vietnamese television than the nails they are doing. Usually television is to entertain the clients not the nail techs. A couple of nails were poorly done and started lifting within a week. I went in to ask them to fix it and he offered me a drop of super glue. ! I’ve been getting my nails done for 25yrs. That will only last a day. He said he would not fix one nail, I needed all of them filled in. I did not. It had been one week. I tipped these ppl great for mediocre work at best; then they refused to fix a lifting nail that would eventually cause injury. So so frustrating. To make it worse I drove in from Hampstead to have them fix it. When Cindy and Tony had this place it was fine. Now it’s trash. I’m used to having my nails done by ppl who don’t speak English. But. This is a new level. Did not understand any simple nail related or basic communication like “cut down” “stop” “short” “pink” or “glitter.” That’s kind of ridiculous.
