Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI wish I could give this place zero stars. This place is very dirty. Everything is disgusting. I walk in and my first inclination was to leave (run) bc it was filthy. Dust from previous customers nails are on everything including the chairs, dirty towels on the floor beside the pedicure stations, a filthy sink and the room used for massages was disheveled with dirty walls and pink sheets. The health department would have a field day in this place. Tony started my nails but got upset and said he could not finish my nails. He was horrible. He wasn’t smoothly covering the entire nail and wanted me to simply accept what he was offering. When I refused to settle he said he couldn’t not do my nails in a very aggressive manner. I then ask the people in the salon if they are going to address my unfinished nails and no one responded. Letting me know that this place is use to treating their customers (primarily all Black customers) with disrespect. Subpar services for their Black customer base and if you dare ask for cleanliness or professionalism you will be ignored. Black women and men please take your business to a place that respects you, values your business and respects the community it operates it’s business in bc that is not Nail Tek in Forrestville, MD or District Heights, MD. Worst experience to date. Luckily for me a nearby nail salon finished the manicure for me and I was able to walk away without giving any of my money to Nail Tek.I wish I could give this place zero stars.
