Critical: QualityWorst dip/powder manicure I’ve ever gotten. So amateur. I did a better job myself when I bought a home kit. Uneven and lumpy finish. I pointed this out and asked her to fix the nails by doing a better job sanding and filing for a smooth even look. She fixed a few of the nails, obviously she didn’t notice the quality control issue that I could see, and they STILL look like total crud. Now I need to go get them fixed elsewhere. Worst dip/powder manicure I’ve ever gotten. So amateur. I did a better job myself when I bought a home kit. Uneven and lumpy finish. I pointed this out and asked her to fix the nails by doing a better job sanding and filing for a smooth even look. I went there to get a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Went exactly a week ago. I feel like the girl was rushing to do my nails. My gel manicure looked horrible and it started coming off after 2 days. And same with my pedicure half of my nails are already coming off. Never going back there.

I am a nail artist and I came to visit the salon because of many complaints that I saw. When I walked in the salon I saw so many health violations. Razors, double dipping for the eyelashes, non-labeled Products and incomplete sanitation. I spoke to the owner who said he would change what was going on, I had an investigator come to check and see has any changes been made none has been done so far. This salon is the worst one I saw in Hamden after visiting over eight salons. I would bring my own NAIL KIT!!!! if I was coming to the salon or I would not attend at all. Your safety is at your own risk.

Service is not 100%. Regular manicure procedures are not followed at all, no hand massage, no lotion, yet there price has gone up. The nail Tech “NINI” is the best, nice friendly and Does a great job. Overall if all else fails and there is a last resort? This would be it!!!!
