Critical: QualityI asked for an “XO” design on my finger and was told she couldn’t do that and left with this. My cuticles hurt so bad and the detail is extremely terrible. I am 100% disappointed. I immediately called Anthony Vince in Leawood and got them fixed hours later. She got polish under my nail, my nails were lumpy to the touch. I hated the old 90’s design. Images of what design I asked for are below. The 4th image is my new nails at Anthony Vince. 200% better than before. I am so mad I paid $45 for acrylic gel fill here. Dropped in and got my nails done today. This was the dip powder. There were so many choices, I wasn’t sure what to do, but then I saw this design and I had to have it. I am very happy with the results. The salon is very clean and everybody there is extremely nice.

Great service my nails look great. Tina was amazing, my nails were broke & peeling from picking off dip polish. She was very gentle, polite & somewhat of a perfectionist. Spoke perfect English. All around great experience. Will be going back.

Waited almost a year being unsure if I should write this, because I did love Tina and the great job she did on my nails for several years. However the owner who’s name I’ve forgotten, will interrupt the technicians (even those with appointments) if there’s an opportunity for a few dollars more profit. I experienced this a few times when booking with Tina and got less than happy results with the “subbed” technicians, but wrote it off to busy days (yay for them I thought at the time). However the last time I was there in Nov ’18, only to have gel removed by Tina before a surgery, owner stepped in to remove my polish and seemed bitter about the fact she was taking off without putting on. She destroyed my nails with a rotary file so badly in her hasty removal process (I should have stopped her, but I was getting surgery and had to get it done) that it’s taken almost a year to grow them back to healthy condition. If you’re lucky enough to book with Tina and actually get the appointment…you’ll be pleased. If the owner steps in to rearrange the process so she can make more profit, sorry…I posted this just so you’re aware it happens.

This is the worst place I’ve ever experienced. Had her re do the acrylics three times and she was talking about how I’m too picky… I’m paying for the service and i expect to get a good service. Neither happened. She “took” the nail off which she just cut them filed them a bit and kept putting the new one on top of the other one. They’re of all different shapes and they’re not even painted correctly. Will never go back and will not recommend. She even cut me on three different places. Worst place ever!

I live near by and I popped over to have my gel nails removed. First woman was very nice, asked questions and began working. After finishing one hand, a woman came in asking for a manicure. So another tec began working on me. She didn’t ask any questions and began to try and file my nails with the electric file, which I had told the other woman I didn’t want. She insisted on using even though the other Woman had done my entire other hand without using it. I politely put my foot down because it makes my nails extremely brutal.

Service was great and everything went well but I did not receive a proper manicure. I asked for a dip manicure & regular pedicure. My cuticles were not cleaned up and I did not receive a massage. The next customer came up and she was given a manicure (I was observing her manicure) but was also charged the same amount as me. I also noticed that they used the same utensils on me as someone else. I won’t be going back & I hope someone calls the city to complain about unsanitary conditions here. Please do better, stop being cheap and use new files and buffers and practice sanitary maintenance.
