This salon is under new ownership and I couldn’t be happier. Steve is absolutely amazing as a nail technician, and really pays attention to his clients needs. I’ve been coming to the salon for a long time and I am extremely happy with the new ownership. They’ve made it so incredibly easy to book an appointment as they’ve updated their online booking. I would also like to say that they’re always on time and really trying to improve the client experience. I can’t wait to see the changes coming.

It’s they way they handle business.I was really upset when I had a 9:30 appointment and the salon was still closed. But when the older man called me 15 minutes later apologizing profusely, I decided to give them another chance. I am glad I did he was so friendly, took his time and I love the adorable Xmas tree art as well. I also got a discount for my troubles and a lot more apologies. No other nail place cares this much. I will definitely be going back!!

I have been going to Nail Star for about 3 years and have had nothing but exceptional service each time I’ve been in. I was worried I would have to find somewhere new to go when I found out there was new management, but Steve has been amazing with the transition, has been very friendly, kind, and has taken his time throughout each step to make sure my nails looked like I wanted them to. Definitely recommend!

Owners nice. However the girl that did my nails took 2hours 5minutes to do dip. She clipped 3 cuticles, enough to bleed. Now 3 days later I’m back in Louisiana WITH A TERRIBLE INFECTION ON 2 OF THOSE CUTICLES REQUIRING PRESCRIPTION ANTIBIOTICS. I CAN’T GO BACK TO SHOW THEM, MY $$ FOR NAILS A LOSS, THEN DR BILL AND PRESCRIPTION $$. NOT REAL HAPPY.

I don’t *hate* my nails but I don’t exactly like them either. Also the guy seemed to rush through them and kept checking his watch (smart watch that dinged everytime he got a text). He also GLOBBED acrylic on there and only fixed it after I said something. When I said I wanted my nails short, he cut one SUPER short and then was like “that good?” Like even if I didn’t like the length, you already cut them! And the place didn’t really seem clean. Another woman came in and they started doing her nails at the table I had just been at but didn’t disinfect it or even wipe it down. Will not be returning.
