More like 0 stars. Service sucks!!! Rude women with ugly attitudes!! Talking on the phone while doing your nails. One time I was comparing the gel nail color wheel to the polish on the wall minding my own business. The Asian mixed with black chick got mad and told me that it was common sense that the colors are not the same. I walked out. I would never go here again. They have only a few colors to choose from anyway. I had to settle on a color, which is why I was looking at the polish. You can get much better, quicker, customer service just up the street at the nail plaza near hobby lobby. I hope they got out of business.

I have used Nail Star several times and never had a problem or complaint with the service. It can sometimes be very busy but you can make an appointment. They always ask me how I like my nails shaped and have never messed them up. They treat you like family, always ask your name until they know you and thank you for your business. I LOVE the gelly pedicure and the different scents. A hidden gem!

Just left with the worst gel nail polish job ever. Also, wasn’t much to the manicure itself. My nails are even crooked. I asked if I could come back tomorrow to have this redone since I had to be somewhere within the hour. This was actually after being there an hour and 15 minutes being the first customer of the day, I was told they could put another coat on top. I did pay, wish I wouldn’t have. Definitely do not recommend. Was treated like there was no issue with my nails. There is also polish under my nails caked on. I also had a toe polish change that looks the same. Sad to make a bad review but if something would’ve been done in store before I left this wouldn’t have been left. There is clear polish all over my fingers also that I’ve been peeling off for the last hour.

That’s about it.I am never the one to complain (follow me on my Instagram @thatworkinmomma if you need proof) anyways…..I asked for a specific, not crazy design and you would have thought I offended the lady. She kept asking “are you sure that’s what you want”. Maybe she was trying to be nice? Idk but it made me very uncomfortable from the start. The energy I felt from her was not great. I ended up liking my nails, the color was good. The quality, there are a few nails that have bubbles and the manicure could have been better. Cleanliness: it wasn’t clean, the light I put my nails in for gel had debris all over it. There was one lady in there NOT wearing a mask and that kinda aggravated me bc I HAD TO!! I won’t be back. The nail salon I usually frequent was closed and I really needed a pedicure. So, I visited Nail Star. There were only two persons working as it was the Sunday before a national holiday. The nail techs were gracious and friendly. The man was especially charming, complimentary, and conversed well with my sister and me. I am glad I gave them a try. I found their services comparable to Luxe Nails. I think I will be back!
