When I booked an appt online there was a deposit that had to be made in order to secure it. Their website says it goes towards my service so I paid $20. The service I paid for was a “FULL SET/ SHORT- MEDIUM with one color $35 – $45”. The lady did a nice job on my nails but she tried charging me $65 and I was confused (that’s not including the deposit I made btw). I asked her how she came up with that number and then she started bringing up all these hidden fees I wasn’t aware of. It just didn’t make any sense to me because that’s not what I paid for. When you come in for an appointment, whoever is doing your nails they know or they should know what package you’re paying for and if they don’t that’s a problem because when she started bringing up these fees like $5 for a certain shape or $5 for a color it’s like come on are you serious right now ? She tried explaining it by saying “oh what you paid for was the “regular package” not for this”. It just felt super shady and doesn’t make me wanna go back because I don’t trust them now. I even told the lady who was doing my nails from the beginning that I wanted them short and told her three times to make them shorter (which she did) but at some point it seemed like she felt that they were short enough and told me that they were. She tried saying one of the many extra fees I was given was long nails! I really hate to say this and I don’t want to because she did a nice job but the whole making a deposit online to “secure my appointment” just seems like a BS way to get more money from you. If you are going to make an appointment with this nail salon just call. Make sure you’re clear on what you want and have them give you a total on the spot because what they have online is obviously not as black and white as they make it seem. Very disappointed. Do better.
