I came up to Atlanta for the weekend and needed my nails done. I decided to go to Shadow nail spa. I had a wonderful experience. Most times people like to post the bad however today was a good day. Thank you all for letting a florida gurl feel welcomed.

Second time I’ve been to this nail salon. I’m a male mind you but have gotten pedicures for over 30 years. Neither time did they offer me a published price option sheet as other nail places due. First time a few weeks ago pedicure was $30 today $35. I love the massage portion which is usually 3-5 minutes per foot. Today maybe 45-60 seconds. It was almost like they didn’t want my business as a male which to be honest they have lost.

I’m long time customer, not because they treat me well but because it’s convenient and quick and they do a decent job. If you plan to go when they open so you can get an appointment, think again. They’ve already been open for what seems like a secret hour before what their “open” hours are – and everyone’s already busy. I would have stopped coming long ago if they weren’t across the street from where I live.

I walked in and was immediately greeted. That is the only positive thing I have to say about this place. I was directed to a seat to sit for my pedicure, where the front desk person came over and met me approximately 5 minutes later. She filled it up with water, nothing else. Didn’t turn on the jets. She cut my nails and literally just put some foot scrub on my feet. No massage, did not scrub. My feet never got to soak at any point. Literally the fastest and worst pedicure I’ve ever had. She then rubbed some lotion on my legs and got a hot towel, which was more of the size of a wash cloth and rubbed it off. I will not be back. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. A pedicure is supposed to be relaxing. Not an in and out in 15 minutes.

A very basic pedicure and manicure $56.00 total. Didn’t pumice my feet or soak my hands and no cuticle pushback. Very disturbing that the tech had a persistent, dry cough. When I questioned her she said “allergies.” Debatable. She was wearing a mask, but I don’t think she should have been on the floor in light of everything going on. This should have been a management decision, not a customer one. I was glad to be wearing my own mask.

Super pleasant experience! The lady I had was very nice and made sure I was getting what I wanted. Definitely the best set of acrylics I’ve had in a long time. I’m from Montgomery and every time I’ve gone anywhere around there I’ve had super sloppy nails afterward that didn’t last.

Amazing!!!!! Mai did my manicure and I started to have a minor cough attack, she asked if I was ok, got me a water and a napkin just the sweetest ever! Not to mention my nails feel brand new lol! Pedicure done by vi and she was to say the least absolute perfection!! She was very detailed, attentive and kind, thank you so much!! I was visiting from SC and chose this nail salon and I’m so glad I did, every staff member greeted me, they were quick yet perfectionists and they were the kindest people as well! Salon was super clean and simple which was refreshing, right down to the hygiene of supplies used, and the bathroom! I highly recommend them and if I’m ever back in the area I will absolutely make time to be pampered there again 🙂
