I wish I could give this salon a negative star rating. I get pedicures every month when I am at home in Florida, this time i was visiting my family in Castro Valley and So I stopped by for a pedicure at the Nail Salon on Center street. I agreed to a deluxe pedicure. It was done very poorly – when I got home, my heels and soles were so rough that they WERE CATCHING ON THE CARPET. I paid a lot of money for a deluxe pedicure and my feet are worse than before the pedicure! I went to the salon the next morning and spoke to the manager. I showed her my feet and asked to fix my heels. She told me that the problem is my dry feet, not their work. Blaming customer for shoddy work is great customer service! Did they take advantage of me because I am a visitor!? BBB is next.

I’ve been going to Nail Salon for 5ish years now. Lovely staff are always sweet and try to accommodate anything you need. They do a great job, very clean, never had a nail infection from them unlike some other local spots.

I have been going to The Nail Salon in Castro Valley, CA for the past 8 years! Kelly, who manages the salon is an amazing woman! She has been doing my nails and is efficient, creative, and compassionate! I have moved to Mesa, AZ, and I fly back to CA to have Kelly do my nails and visit family, too! Kelly, is very talented! I usually show her a pic of what I want done on my nails, and she creates the picture and many times makes adjustments to make my nails even more glamorous! The service was good and my nails look nice. The only thing was I watched the guy “wash” the tools he used on my nails before he did someone’s pedicure. All he did was run them under water. So not sure I’ll go back.

This place used to be awesome. Now not so much. Their prices went up and services went down. Mostly the same people there so I dont get why. I got an acrylic fill, pedicure and wax this time. All 3 services had problems. Same thing last time I went.They used to be crazy busy too. Now, not so much. Others must be feeling the same way. Time to look for a new salon.

They do a wonderful job and will do extra if you really need it. The quality of their wonderful.it’s always booked so tells you how many people like their work. Now for the shop it could stand for some updates, however this is my shop until I move from castro valley.

NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!! Waited over an hour just for them to say come back tomorrow! A total of at less 10 workers on a Monday.. 3 people left from getting the nails and or feet done. The workers after completing other clients went to the back fo the shop to hang out!! NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!
