I have been to Nail Retreat several times and usually have a good experience. I would say nothing outstanding but pretty good. Today I asked for the deluxe pedicure, I didn’t get the deluxe ( I have had it before so know what to expect) I just assumed the tech misunderstood me and gave me the lesser pedicure. I didn’t want to make a big deal about it. I brought my own polish for my manicure and it lasted at most 10 minutes. The tech pointed out on my bill the charge for the deluxe pedi, I told her I didn’t get that pedi she said I did and called over the manager. They spoke in Vietnamese and he told me I didn’t know because according to the tech I was too busy on my phone. I was in fact reading a book and was very aware. Overall the tech rushed through my service and apparently forgot and didn’t want to admit it so it was better to say the customer was wrong. AND her manager agreed! Shocking how horrible customer service has become. Considering I never thought this salon was outstanding or very friendly. I will never go back specially the way I was treated. If I could give zero stars that would be the most accurate rating.

It was the first time I had been to a nail salon since February (due to Covid). All my worries melted away as soon as I stepped in. They take your temperature as soon as you come in. Then they take you to your station (I got a mani/pedi, so we started at the pedicure chair). They use specific disposable covers so that there is no cross contamination in their pedicure foot baths. The whole place is gleaming and kept perfectly sanitized. But of course, the most important factor is the quality of their work, and I am happy to report that they do beautiful work! They are swift but gentle and leave you with impeccably gorgeous nails!! I am going back tomorrow for a refresh of my gel manicure.

I feel really bad about asking for something that became very apparent was too difficult. I should of said something after the first few nails but I couldn’t get myself to point out the obvious. I went in with my boyfriend to get some matching nails, they were so professional, got us in early and had a beautiful salon. My hopes were high but I guess I should have been very clear about the intricacy of the design I wanted. They probably assigned a tech that excelled in normal gel manicures and didn’t have the experience in design
