Called and explained that I currently have shellac and my husband needs a pedicure. Drove 45 minutes and upon arrival, my husband started getting his toes done while the male I spoke to looked at my nails, told me I have acrylic which I haven’t done in 10 years and told me he can’t do shellac and I have to wait for the other person to do it. On the phone he said he will be doing my nails and someone will be doing a pedicure on my husband. I kept asking if he could start soaking my shellac and he said he can’t. Started raising his voice telling me I told him over the phone I have shellac and in his mind he is convinced I have acrylic. Kept raising his voice telling me I told him only I am coming and not 2 people. I understand that some nail companies don’t have someone with good English to answer the phones but raising his voice at a client and yelling out that I have acrylic is extremely unprofessional. My husband was all ready getting his toes done and I wanted him to stay and finish but he was so mad at how 2 employees were yelling at me so he got up with just 1 foot of nails trimmed.

Love this place! They always do an amazing job. Family owned and operated. Support local businesses! I have been going here for gel manicures and pedicures for nearly a year and have yet to be disappointed. They are very quick and store is very clean. Convenient location in the heart of town. No complaints here.

Got my nails did! It was great having a pedicure done after the strenuous hike back up from Waipio Valley!! I was attended to right away and my nail technician was very meticulous! I highly recommend Nail Palace, I think it is a decent price for a pedicure on the Big Island.

Run, don’t walk away! I keep going back here because there aren’t many salons in town. Most of the time, all I want is a brow wax, but I have gotten mani and pedicures here. I keep giving them chances and I think today I hit my limit. They’ve cut my finger during a manicure and today the woman (after I had been waiting patiently for almost 10 minutes) summoned me with a “Hello! Do you want wax or what?” These people have no class or courtesy. When I pay with cash, they ask for change to give themselves a bigger tip when I would have given them what they’re due. I’m over it. Never going back here again.
