Love this place! Best manicure and pedicure I’ve ever had. Literally. Nice, modern and clean. The whole staff are very nice and professional. I’m big into natural feel and aesthetic. Mina recommended that I try the modern gel she provides. They’ve made my natural nails not just beautiful but stronger and longer. I’m so happy with the service. First time I’ve visited, great experience. These folks are truly artists, and to get the full experience I recommend doing nail art. However, they also use the best quality mail extensions in the biz and amazing polishes, so even if you are doing something simple it will be a job well done.

Never leave reviews but I’m feeling lead to. Made an appointment online and paid a $32 deposit. When I arrived and sat down my technician never greeted me, and when I was talking to her it almost felt like I was bothering her. While my nails did turn out nice the price was more then I anticipated. I brought stickers to be applied on top of plain gel polish and they charged $3 per nail because they had to use an “extra layer of clear coat” which ended up being $30…probably double the price of the whole bottle of polish. The deposit was not deducted out of the price of my nails and when I asked about it they said it would be refunded back to me. After a week it wasn’t refunded, and I gave them multiple calls and they didn’t answer. Eventually I got a call back and the woman said she would text me about it which she never did. I paid for my deposit with PayPal (and I’m glad I did) so I filed a claim with them and finally got my refund. Would not recommend going here unless you’re okay with high prices, poor customer service, and maybe not getting your deposit back.

I hate leaving a negative review when the salon itself is generally a good place and the nail techs do great work but feel like this needs to be said. I’ve been to NOTD 6 times in a row these last few months and since the very beginning of my visits, I have not been greeted with any sort of respect or decency from their main nail tech Mina Pan. For no reason whatsoever, she is very short, cold, and rude with me right off the bat. I have hesitated going back many times because of her, but kept giving it another chance since the techs tend to do a decent job and the place is convenient for me to get to. After this experience with Mina doing my manicure from start to finish, I have to say this is the tip of the iceberg. I’m a very simple customer, I don’t ask for anything complicated. I ask for one color and the hard gel that they recommend to avoid breakage. I am a very quiet person and have always been very respectful to the staff. I honestly think she takes advantage of this, thinking I would just continually put up with her disrespect. I ask very few and fair questions as needed and they’re always met with such harsh and hostile answers, as if I’m inconveniencing her in the worst possible way. I hate to say it, but I’ve never seen her treat other customers (usually caucasian) in the same way and by stark contrast is much friendlier with them. She did not even say hi to me today, but greeted everyone else that came in after me. She came back from walking her dog, didn’t wash her hands (something they ask of every customer when they arrive), literally sat down and started my manicure. The owner always recommends that I get ‘hard gel’ so that is what I ask for. Yet the salon uses the words hard gel and overlay interchangeably making it very confusing, and though I still don’t see a difference between them, they both have different prices. I asked for hard gel only to find out I got an overlay in the end which costs more. They do a poor job of explaining in advance what will be done, and then blame the customer for not understanding when it comes to payment. Whatever, no big deal, I didn’t fuss and still paid the higher amount and tipped. She rushed through my manicure today and aggressively filed my nails way too short and unevenly after I requested only a tiny bit shorter. She did not check if I was okay with the length (the way the other techs usually do) and I could just feel the hate spewing from her as she is doing my nails in a very rushed manner. There’s no reason for hostility towards paying customers. What’s supposed to be a very relaxing experience and to most people a ‘self-care treat’, is instead the most tense and unpleasant experience with her. I previously put up with it because I’m a practical person, I just want to get the job done and I have extremely low expectations for customer service. I’m happy to pay for good service and then some – for whatever extra treatment they recommend – but cannot, and will not tolerate hostility and unfair treatment.
