I love a natural nail! I came to Nail Lab because my nails had gotten healthy during Covid, and I wanted to keep them that way. I tried other salons and always felt pressured to get services I didn’t want. BUT NOT AT NAIL LAB!!! Everyone is willing to work with me to keep my natural nails healthy and looking beautiful. They have a very friendly and professional staff. Plus, I love the look and feel of the salon. It’s a clean, warm and relaxing environment. I highly recommend Nail Lab! Critical: Professionalism, ValueA very honest review from someone already in the beauty industry:As someone in this industry I am very picky, I hate to complain but after visiting the nail lab I was really disappointed. I did not once see anyone sanitize or disinfect anything not even their hands. Even after another nail tech had finished with another person…. she did not clean her tools before putting them away. Maybe she disinfects them before service but that’s still a breeding ground for bacteria. In school they teach you all about infection control and disorders and diseases (Via milady’s books). There were some cuts on my toes which is worrisome due to lack of visible sanitation. When she put the lotion on me she touched me, pulled out a jar of lotion, stuck her hands directly in the jar and put it on me. Big sanitation NO NO! My nails look decent but the price I paid for an extreme basic pedicure and manicure (that didn’t even include exfoliation and included contaminated lotion) was really expensive. I paid $60 and $12.60 for a tip out of pity and the website says $45….. I’m extremely disappointed with my first and last visit from the nail lab. I even told the girl I was in school and a manager for a spa…. that should be your first clue to follow the rule book.
