Would not recommend to anyone, especially women of color. Today I was looking for a salon close to home that wasn’t busy for my daughter’s first acrylic set. All the salons in our area were closed today when we were looking for one except this and I thought it would be perfect being that it wasn’t busy. Upon entering we were met by a tech , she greeted us and ask what we wanted and I told her a spa deluxe pedicure for myself and a very short acrylic set for my 12 year old. When I asked for the prices she told me what I thought would be reasonable because I’ve paid way more myself just to get a pedicure than what she quoted me. As my daughter waited for the next tech, she started on my pedicure which is the worse experience I’ve ever had and I’ve been receiving pedicures for 20 years. She didn’t want to service and I would’ve appreciated her just telling me no than to pretend to do a job that and when I spoke up about the poor service I was receiving , she blatantly lied to me again and told me that she was cleaning my cuticles and drilling off my gel which was still visible, she pretends to cut my cuticles and use the nippers to cut my toe nail rather than go back over them with the drill, my toe nails were not filed or shaped as she pretended to cut them as well, at that point I politely told her thank you for what she’d done so far but I will just pay for the removal and what she’d done because it wasn’t to my standard of service. She proceeded to tell she hadn’t done anything to justify my disapproval and initially wanted to charge me 35 for the removal of my gel and the liner for the bowl. After I asked her to explain to the price she said sorry $15. The gentleman who’d started on my daughter which I presume to be the owner was doing my daughter’s nails, as I was telling him to stop her service and just pay for that he asked me to not penalize him for what the other tech had done, which I felt fair at the time. Not thinking because I’m upset at the service I then paid for my service or legal I’d received and my daughter’s. $55 and then tipped 10 for him. As I’m walking out to discuss this experience with my sister in the phone… a family walks in with their daughters to be serviced. They noticed how upset I was and asked what happened , I told them and the gentleman said “no mind her” and told me that they weren’t getting pedicures as to mind my business so they could proceed with servicing them. As I entered back to check on my daughter, the guy asked me was I happy with what I did. Stunned and even more insulted I told him that I was. He said to me oh so you just look the rest of people who go to Facebook and internet to complain. At this point I’d had it. What you will not do is insult me after I’ve paid you to service my daughter and expect me to not speak up on the poor service and judgement from you and your staff. The problem was not how I tried so graciously to decline finishing my service or how honest I was with the future patrons if this establishment. I was a paying customer who is a licensed master cosmetologist who recognized poor service and professionalism and didn’t want anyone to receive less than what they deserve. Not only was I completely disrespected but we were treated like we weren’t worthy of getting quality service. Stop supporting business who don’t find the value in the money you worked hard to make. Below I’ve posted photos of my nails after she claims she removed all the polish and clipped my nails, this included her buffing them. ‍♀️, as well as the “very short” set I asked for my daughter.

I came in on a Sunday and the were very slow. I did the Firewalker pedicure for 45.00. The lady who did my pedicure was very rude. I had to constantly remind her of what all came with it. She continued to act as if she had forgot what all came with the pedicure. The towels were not warm at all. She never did the the leg massage either. My first time and last time visiting this place. The products she was using, she would only use a tiny amount and then add oil with. I think they are very unprofessional to be in business and trying to be cheap with the products when you are paying for it. Great Customer Service goes a long ways. It’s just common and courtesy to treat people nice. She never came to check on me while my feet was drying. She did have another customer. The guy took my payment and said thank you and have.a great day. I explained to him she was rude he said her name was Lisa.

I tried to give this chance a place even after reading some negative reviews thinking it can’t be that bad and I am in need of a last minute manicure without a wait (Friday evening) The woman at the desk continuously refused to let me get a regular manicure saying, “It will fall off by Sunday, you have to get gel.” I eventually gave in and agreed. My gel manicure was lifting and peeling off on both sides of multiple fingers by Sunday. Very disappointed.

They do a good job on nails. You don’t need an appointment, just walk in. They also do eyebrows. I usually get breakfast next door first at Tommy’s. I only get my nails done twice a year (if that) for special occasions or travel, so I can’t speak to what others have experienced. I don’t have to have stuff removed and I only get the most basic mani pedi and eyebrow. I am going again today so I will update my experience later.

Critical: ProfessionalismDon’t come here…as a licensed cosmetologist that knows how to do nails, I observed some things that concerned me. My mother was treating me and my grandmother and both needed a fresh new full set. The nail tech proceeded to use a cuticle nipper and a nail tip to RIP the acrylic off their fingers; they’re supposed to soak the acrylic off with acetone. They had the audacity to laugh at them when they expressed pain and called them babies. I will be reporting.Don’t come here…as a licensed cosmetologist that knows how to do nails, I observed some things that concerned me. Critical: Professionalism, ValueThe prices that are shown through out the shop is less likely what you’ll pay. They will tell you the price after starting your service. I paid $18 just for them to paint my toe nails (no gel, no full pedicure or anything, just adding polish)- I also needed one nail repaired. She didn’t have the color I had already so I just requested a color change. She suggested that I just paint that one nail silver and I declined. So I just asked to change the color on my nails too. She wanted to charge me an additional $45 to change the color of my nails. I CAN GET A FULL SET FOR THAT PRICE! So of course I refused. I asked for the ring of nail colors to see if I could find the match and she said that she doesn’t have the color and to go back where I got my nails done for them to paint the repaired nail. I will not be back!Services: Pedicure, Gel manicuresThe prices that are shown through out the shop is less likely what you’ll pay. They will tell you the price after starting your service. Went to get a full set due to I couldn’t get to my regular salon. Asked for specific details to my nails like do them a little thicker than normal( I work a lot outside) and to have them buffed afterwards. She stated I didn’t need thicker (they lifted within a week) and no can buff but suggested I get clear gel instead because it is better. (I’ve had my nails done for 35 years I should know how I want and like them) I said no it yellows( I am very active outside so I know) She does clear gel for free, guess what? It yellowed. ‍♀️ Do not recommend. If you are willing to pay for a specific service you should get nothing less.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI came in to get a full set pink and white. The lady looked at my nails, which are short and suggested that I get ombre instead and she said it would look better. I agreed. Before she started she said Ombre $50, I said $50? And she nodded yes. While she was doing my nails she asked did I want to get my eyebrows done which was $10. I was pressed for time so I said No. She repeated tried to convince me to get the eyebrow wax and I finally told her I was in a hurry and didnt have time. Long story short, when I get ready to pay, she says $60. I was like no…you said $50 before you started. She said no, no I said $60. I know she said $50 but apparently, they feel like they can charge people whatever they want to. This was very unprofessional and although it is very convenient for me to come here, they will never see me again.I came in to get a full set pink and white. Critical: Professionalism, QualityI DO NOT recommend this nail salon. I went to the salon because they were open late. I got SNS and a pedicure. After about 4 to 5 days the SNS started chipping. When I returned to get my nails fixed the manager was rude, unprofessional, and did not want to fix all the nails that were not right. Their SNS is obviously cheap because the manger was able to pop the SNS off my nails. I WILL NOT patronize this nail salon again.Services: Pedicure, Dip powderI DO NOT recommend this nail salon.
