I normally do cat eye gel but decided for “subtle” this time. My hands are dry because they’re always in water. You can tell by my cuticle. Anyway this is day 3 of getting them done and they still look great! I recently got into doing my nails and Nail Elegance is my go to ever since. Tom has been doing a great job with them. Cindy, the owner, is super nice and always asks to see what I’ve chosen to do next. I’m a happy client at Nail Elegance.

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI wish I didn’t need to leave such a negative review but this was a terrible experience–the way he removed my full set was extremely painful; literally was pulling the nails by cutting them down and using a metal tool to pry the acrylic off..I told him it was hurting and he said ‘this way is much faster’…I just got the set done Wednesday and they are already completely f’ed up..the top coat is almost completely gone and there’s bubbles in it. Also after using hand sanitizer it appears my nails are ‘burnt’? I’ve never had anything like this happen to a set in my life. Wanted a nice blue to match my outfit for my vacation and they look extremely trashy and not professionally done at all. Won’t be returning. My mom was also really embarrassed because she’s the one who got me the gift certificate for a set there as part of my birthday gift. Very upsetting. I hate leaving bad reviews as I was once a small business owner myself but I was truly shocked by my experience at this place. I went in last Thursday for a mani/pedi. I called in advance to make an appointment and was told to come at 3:30. My regular salon was booked and I wanted to look nice for an important meeting the following day. The place looked clean, and they insisted everyone wear a mask (they even provided the masks) which was a bonus. Beyond that, the service was HORRIBLE. Although the environment looked clean, they didn’t open a package of sterilized tools. My technician picked up some tools that looked used and immediately went to work on my pedicure. My service was VERY RUSHED and he wrapped up my pedi within 10 minutes (no exaggeration)! I had worked hard all day and wanted a relaxing full service pedicure but they seemed intent on getting me out of the place as quickly as possible. I really should have left then but I needed to look put together for a meeting so let them proceed with a manicure. HUGE mistake. Again, it was a rush job. They didn’t bother to shape my nails, no filing or buffing. I received one coat of polish. I asked for another coat but was told it wouldn’t look nice. It chipped horribly within hours although I tried to be extra careful. The next day I went back to the salon to simply ask to see the color samples so I could get the name of the polish (I remembered the number but not the name). I wanted to buy the polish from somewhere else so I could touch up my nails before my meeting. I was dismissed and asked to leave. I said, “I got my nails done yesterday and they’re already chipping pretty badly….I just need the name of the polish.” A woman, that I believe was the owner kept working on another customer and flatly stated “we can’t help you.” I ended up having to remove the polish and just paint my nails clear. It was a waste of money and time. This place is lacking in service skills. It was my first and last visit. Seriously, SKIP IT.

I really hate to leave a negative review, but it was a terrible experience. Exactly one day after that all my nail polishes broke and I never had such an experience, then I went there to fix my nails, he fixed them very quickly and I still got a bad job and I just wasted my money.

I show up and as she’s doing my nails she has 4 other people show up who she booked all together, keep in mind theres is only 3 employees working at the salon who were all busy at the time. I asked for a specific design and Cindy started rushing my nails just to make it to her other appointments. Last time I visited I had to specifically ask for a cuticle cleaning and she was surprised. I did not know that cuticle cleaning was not included under ‘manicure’ especially when Im paying so much money just to get my nails done. Overall disappointed, Im not satisfied with my nails after paying $60 for them. I’ve been getting pampered here for almost 8 years. I’ve tried other nail salons here and there, but I always come back. They are meticulously clean, even before the Pandemic. They are sincere thoughtful, and very talented. Cindy (the owner) currently does my nails and Tammy (the manager)does my pedicures (Tammy does fantastic gel Manis also).I am ridiculously picky when it comes to any of my personal grooming services. They check off all the boxes and then some. These ladies are like family to me. Give them a try… you won’t be disappointed… ( apologies for the less than perfect photo skills. I took it from the tanning bed LOL}

Cindy is the owner, her great service, how she treats her clients old or new, is the absolute best. She loves what she does, and you leave satisfied every time. Not to mention her salon is very nice, clean, and her spa chairs are amazing.

I just moved back to Sherman Oaks and had horrible experiences with some of the highly rated nail salons in the area. I HIGHLY suggest this nail salon. Cindy is great and her technicians do a very clean job. I only got a regular mani/pedi, but you’d be surprised how hard it is to find technicians that know what they are doing! I’ll definitely be back 🙂

I have been going to Nail Elegance for over 5 years and i wouldn’t go anywhere else. They just remodeled and it’s gorgeous! With new massage chairsand such a peaceful atmosphere, you can’t do anything but relax. The owner Cindy is always there. All of the technicians are great but Tammy knows exactly what color to use for me.
