First time here and wow, blown away by such a wonderful service. I walked in without an appointment to just ask about a refill and Lucas (the manager, lovely guy) was so accommodating and immediately sat me down and Vinny did my nails. Vinny is a very talented and lovely professional. I really enjoyed talking to him. But besides that he did such an exceptional job. My nails are literally perfect. The way Vinny shaped my nails was impressive. I will definitely be their customer for the remaining time I’m in Estero.

I called in the morning and asked to speak to the manager. Lucas was very accommodating and fixed my nails two days later when I could make it in. They look so much better. I went in for a full set and after leaving realized my nails were nothing like I asked for. They were different shapes and lengths. I called in the morning and asked to speak to the manager. Lucas was very accommodating and fixed my nails two days later when I could make it in. They look so much better. I would highly suggest asking for Lucas.

If you make an appointment here make sure it’s with Lucus. I haven’t had the best experience here, especially since they hired their new techs. All of which take personal phone calls in the middle of your nail appointment on their cell phones… while they make you wait to proceed with you. I had requested a simple design with a little heart on my nail and the nail tech told me “I can’t do it, if you can do it I won’t charge you for it” I literally laughed because I thought she was kidding… she wasn’t. She literally handed me the tools and had me to the design on my own nails which I hated. I waited an extra half an hour because she couldn’t do any design I requested and had to remove the polish each time… even tho I originally asked for a design before she started and confirmed that she could do it with a photo reference. There was another time where Lucus overcharged me for a simple French tip design, an extra $10 dollars when it’s normally $5 or less… And another time when they filed my toenails so thin they all broke the next day. I wouldn’t come back here again, there are other places who do better work for just as much as Nail color and spa.

I have found my nail salon for as long as I am in the area! Lucas is Amazing! If you want a specific design and a great manicure he is your man! I have been going here for awhile, and every single time my nails look amazing! Lucas always does an awesome job, and my nails never fall off or chip. Always such a great atmosphere and I always walk out loving my nails.

I walked in around 9:40 am and I asked if they had time for a full set. They said yes and I was assigned to a tech. I showed him a picture of glitter pink French nails he said he wasn’t able to do it because he didn’t have the “tools” and it was gonna be “too expensive” and take “too long”. I told him I didn’t care about the price but since I was in a little bit of a hurry I told him I would just do a regular white instead. He said okay good cause it’ll be “ easier “ and “cheaper”. I asked how much the other one would be and he said over 100, I immediately wanted to walk out cause this guy was giving red flags all over and my usual nail tech has done similar sets on me for 80-85 but I thought I would give him a chance cause my birthday was gonna be tomorrow and I had no time to go anywhere else. He put two of the tips on very crooked and I didn’t notice until after he put on the acrylic I asked him to please fix them and instead of trying to take them off he started filing them to even the sides out… I was being really nice and not rushing cause I thought maybe this guy was having a bad day. But it just kept getting worse. When I asked him to please just re do it he got all nervous and asked me how old I was ??????? I was confused and uncomfortable and told him tomorrow was my birthday I was turning 21. He opened the powder back up and spilled it all over the floor and cussed underneath his breath. Now this whole time I was trying to give him a chance because I understand we all have bad days. He kept acting weird and messing things up. At one point he walked out to the back and when he came back he had a disgusting cigarette smell to him. Now I’m not a Karen but everything up to this point has me very uncomfortable. The nails he did on me were the worst thing I’ve ever seen. They were curling underneath and the acrylic itself was horrible. Somehow even the white polish wasn’t evenly painted. I’m not the type of person to write bad reviews on anything but this was very upsetting. He noticed how bad the nails were and only charged me 50 dollars. I tipped him 10 dollars because that’s just who I am but after I left I went to another salon to get them removed. This guy was definitely on drugs, he was acting weird and dropping things all over the place. If you go here please don’t go with a guy who is wearing dress clothes and a black chain with a black pendant on it. I was very disappointed and can’t believe I wasted 60 dollars on the day before my birthday. The salon itself was nice and clean but the staff seemed very unfriendly besides the nice gentleman at the front.
