Terrible experience. I went into this place to get my acrylic nails removed & I paid for something I literally could’ve done by myself. I went in here expecting to get the same service I got last time. Last time the man who removed my nails took his time. He dipped my nails in warm water with acetone & used the drill afterwards. However, this time one of the ladies took them off & she did none of that. She just grabbed my hands & started clipping & chipping my nails off. Then she used the cuticle remover to remove the rest & then applied the cuticle oil on top of my unfinished nails.. NOT WORTH THE $20.

So I like the color however this was a horrible experience. I got my full set removed. If I wanted somebody to just cut them off I would have done that at home. It was not done the professional proper way using acetone to break down the acrylic. I even ask is this the most efficient and safest way. Of course he lied and said yes. Which it wasn’t and ruined my nail bed. Then this is the result of my gel nails and when I asked about the cuticles around my nails the gentleman said I can get it done next time. Then the lady that was there walked up because clearly I am unhappy with this horrible customer service and she says that is how they do nails there. Really what’s the point of even being open. I recommend they put their services up with a description because trying to communicate in English is a struggle. There is nothing wrong with not being able to speak English however if the majority of the people you service speak English you might want to put your services up in English so if you didn’t understand what I was asking for I can select what service I want. I got my nails done today May 17th and this is the pictures from the same exact day. I will never be back.

This place failed to properly refill my daughter’s nails. They didn’t allow them to dry all the way and by the next day, the nails were caved in and peeling. We went back to have them fixed and they wanted to charge 60 dollars to have the nails done right. So we only got the paint fixed. This shop is all about the money not the service.

I usually go to Hollywood Nails off Broad but didn’t like how my nails turned out this time. I live in Midlothian so thought I would try somewhere around here, but was leery because they charge RIDICULOUS prices on this side of town for LESS services (talking about you Escape Nail Spa). Anyway, I went to VA Nails next to Burlington first. They were PACKED and I only had an hour to get this done. It was a Friday so I was expecting a wait, but all I wanted was a polish change. I left because I was sure there was another place nearby. When I was leaving, I saw the Nail Club sign across the street so went there. No real expectations, just wanted them to be quick. I was seen right away. The one lady took off the polish, but suggested the pink and white for my trip (I was headed to Mexico the next morning). Wanting to be cute, I said I would do it BUT they had to be done in an hour because I had somewhere to be (aka farewell drinks with my friends). She said no problem and that it would be $55. This seemed reasonable to me. She asked me to move to the first chair because the gentleman was going to do my nails. This made my neck hairs stand up because I am not a fan of male nail techs, but I went on and let him do them. So GLAD I did!! My nails were beautiful and just what I expected. When I did ask him to round them more, he did with no issues. I’m back from my trip and have an appointment to get them filled and a polish change for my toes. Hopefully, I will have another good experience and a new nail shop. Side note: After reading some other reviews, I did ask about the cost of the desired services and he couldn’t quote me a firm price. Slightly concerning but not enough to keep me from going tomorrow.

I went to the same place for 3 years and only went here because my usually place had over an hour wait and i couldnt wait that long. Ive been here a couple of times about every 2 weeks for about 2.5 months and i will never go back. They have about 20 colors, thats it. I asked for a color they showed me on the swatches of nails they had and they said they dont have it, then whey are you advertising that you do? i liked the pedicures and manicures but honestly im tired of being at a place that is so under staffed that im there for 2+ hours each time i go. I went on friday at 5pm i didnt leave until 7:35… also they lied to me about pricing, lady told me $72 for mani and pedi which isnt bad at all but i look at the board and its actually $69, even with her charging me extra to take off the gel polish on my nails. I paid for my friends fill, it was $50!!! i asked why it was so much and he said “extra long, extra polish, extra money” lol no, i ended up paying $122 for a fill, pedi and mani. thats insane to me. The board isnt right, they charge you whatever they feel is fair for the work and it takes forever. On top of ALL of that, my nail polish lifts and starts to peel after ONE WEEK! my toes look fine but my friends looked terrible. They charge me that much for that? no. I will never return and i suggest you dont either unless you want to get highway robbed

Thought I’d try this spot since my normal place was busy. Well I didn’t even get my nails done as the technician tried to nickel and dime for switching from gel polish to regular polish bc she had to take the the previous color off.
