Went there to get acrylics for a wedding I was in and was very unsatisfied. I’m missing the fill on majorly of the nails, the paint job is horrible, the matte finish doesn’t cover all of the nail polish, absolutely no cuticle care, the edges of my nails are messed up and when I went in to show them and get them fixed, the lady looked at me and said “you’re fine, they’re fine” and shooed me out the door. 10/10 DO NOT recommend. Haven’t even had them for 4 days and they look out grown!

Critical: Cleanliness, Quality, Valuehonestly extremely unimpressed. didn’t realize getting ombré was $35 more than a solid dip. (something that would’ve been nice to know before) without having acrylics or a proper manicure & no cuticle care, spent $70 on these. i could have gotten a full set of acrylics with dip and my toes polished at a high quality nail salon for $100. i wish i would have known the quality and the cost that nail city was going to be. would not recommend to anyone after this experience, very disappointed.honestly extremely unimpressed. didn’t realize getting ombré was $35 more than a solid dip. The woman here have talent! Don’t spend your hard earned pedi/mani money at another nail salon , I’ve been to most In Brookings. The service, timeliness, cleanliness, various options they cover don’t compare to others.

They were really nice I can say that! But the nail job was really bad…I got acrylic nails done. I got charged $100 for just my nails! They were super thick, all were different shapes, one side was thicker then the other. It was not pretty. I did end up getting them filled and fixed at a different nail salon. Nail City is great! The girls always remember me and make me feel at home. The prices have gone up a bit but that could be everywhere, I’ve only gone here for acrylics.

After telling the nail tech three times I wanted stiletto shape she than proceeded to cut my nails to short for stiletto and tell me i would need a square shape. I can see trough the polish to the otherside and just paid 70$ for something I didn’t want also they only ever have two techs would not recommend Manicure

I am very impressed with my nails. They are pure art. The creativity and attention to detail is amazing. I’ve gone elsewhere and wasn’t nearly as impressed with the shape, quality and perfection of my nails. No lumps or bumps, they are sleek and smooth and stay put for weeks! Friendly, and professional – If you want beautiful trendy nails and a huge color selection I definitely recommend!

If I could I’d give zero stars. I went and had a full set of acrylics put on on Friday and when I left the salon the nails looked gorgeous. They held up fine over the weekend but by Tuesday afternoon every single nail had broken or popped off. I paid $70 for the set and tipped $10 for the nails to last a whole whopping 4 days. I’ve had acrylics done elsewhere previously and they held up better but I was hoping to find somewhere new to go but Nail City is absolutely NOT the place to go.
