I went to this place for the First time. I decided to try Nail Boutique in Allen based on reviews for my nail care needs. I booked an appointment online for a gel polish change-only manicure for my natural long & strong nails & classic pedicure. The WORST experience I’ve ever had in a nail salon. The techwas not a professional in the way she handled the manicure. I already had perfect oval-shaped nails instead. After telling her twice and showing her an image of the design of how I was expecting my nails to be, she ruined the shape of my nails then. I decided not to go for a gel manicure as the shape of the nails was not perfect. I repeatedly told her the corrections and asked her to do shiny nail polish instead of gel, so she got irritated and just applied the nail polish with bumps and left my hand like that. Then the manager came in and told me that maybe it was because of the communication gap with the tech, so give us one more chance we will do it. If the tech has a communication problem with the customer, they must ask before the server begins. I was a bit upset that they spoiled the shape of the nail, and I was not willing to give them another chance. For the pedicure, the tech was super cool and did it well. I enjoyed my pedicure more than the manicure. I would not recommend this place for a manicure but for a pedicure, yes. The ambiance was good.

Jackie and her team are spectacular! My sister introduced me to their salon when I moved here, and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. They always make me feel special, even when it’s busy, they always remember my name and make sure I get everything I need from my appointment. The treatments are so divine, and make your feet and hands feel like butta. I’ve gotten gel manicures, and dip acrylic – they do a beautiful job with both. I’ve gotten fun designs on my nails too, and their technicians are so talented and really practice their craft.

Critical: QualityThe nail tech was nice and spent a lot of time on my pedicure which came out great. When she asked for toe nail color I told her I wanted it to closely match my gel manicure and she was surprised as she didn’t know I was getting the gel manicure. The gel manicure I feel was kind of rushed through. My cuticles weren’t pushed back, they looked dry. I assumed when I got the mint pedicure it would also be a mint manicure, which I did not receive. And only 3 days after the gel polish started to streak and looked blotchy. If I weren’t on vacation I would’ve gone back immediately. This place is okay. We did the regular manicure and pedicure. It is fairly good quality, our nail tech was very sweet! But the other reviews are right, they take a very long time to get started. We came in and they started my appointment promptly, but my daughter had to wait 45 minutes before anyone started her nails. They started other customers nails before ours even though we came in first. The waiting is absurd, and it is not okay to start other customers nails even though we had an appointment and came in earlier. Don’t go if you are on a tight schedule. The quality was good, but a little sloppy. I was a fan of the pedicure. All in all an okay experience. Great nail techs bad management, we won’t be coming back!
