Let me preface this review by saying, I should have said something. The man doing my nails was extremely nice however, he clearly lacks proper training. I told him to even my nails out and he proceeded to cut them down to the skin. I then showed him a picture of the design I wanted and he made an attempt at it. Unfortunately this attempt is now going to be on my nails for the next couple of weeks, and happens to be some of the ugliest things I have ever looked at. Again I never should have left unhappy, but I waited two hours with an appointment and wanted out of there. Makes for a great story though, but I will not be returning.

1 star because it was clean. But outside of that, I will never return here. I wish I would have looked at the reviews before going in for the 1st time but went with a friend. Made an appointment and went in for a full set. Was sat down with an older lady. I was a little concerned as she seemed to be laying the acrylic on super thick and had a very hard time shaping it to my request (coffin). As I sit here now looking at them I’m still so unhappy; they look thick, messy cuticles, and more than one nail has a crooked apex. Then I almost fainted when I was given the total. Any place I’ve gone before typically says what incurs an additional charge. $71.00 for a full set!!! I have a place I go regularly in Christiansburg and I could have got all the same but way better quality for $45. Their total broke down as follows

Everyone there is so nice and talented. The older woman that works there is a different story. She’s done my nails twice, and both times she has cut me. She also charges me more than any of the other stylist for less quality work than the other stylist.

Would absolutely NOT recommend getting any kind of service from LINDA. I have been coming to the nail bar on and off for the past 4 years, never have I been treated this way by any other employee. I had long acrylics on for my wedding and wanted them to be taken off. For some reason Linda really didn’t want to take them off- she tried convincing me several times to keep them on. I think because I had short nails? Anyways, I was under the impression that acrylics had to be soaked off but Linda went in with little scissors and started ripping the fake nails off. It was an extremely painful process and she had no sympathy. She seemed angry the entire time, like she wanted to be anywhere else. I understand having an off day, we all have them. But what I don’t understand is hurting a client & talking badly about a client that is sitting right in front of you. I know that there is a difference in language, but any human can tell when someone else is talking badly about them.. especially when there’s pointing and scoffing involved. I saw my nails after she rippled the acrylics off- they were red and inflamed. It really did hurt! I don’t think I will be returning to the nail bar- I’m not sure I would go back just in fear of getting Linda as my nail tech again.
