I’ve been here multiple time and every single time theirs always a issue with my nails this lady rushed my nails and left water bubbles on every nail and spilled nail glue on my skin !!! They are very rude and don’t take their time always rushing with everything . they definitely disrespected me and got in my face Bc I wanted my nails fixed but only good thing about their salon is they do good pedicure I give them that other services trash .and I’m glad I can no longer go to their poor service Solon anymore just because I want to look right and worth my money. I brought My nieces is here to have a pedicure for the first time. One it’s hard to find anywhere in Humboldt County to get a good manicure and pedicure. We found this place in McKinleyville and it’s just not very good. They were rushed, not very polite and the quality was not what I would expect for such an expensive pedicure. For the three of us one of them being a small child it was $80. I would say go here if you’re in a pinch, but if you want quality service, I would go elsewhere.

I never leave bad reviews but something has to be said about this place. I moved to McKinleyville a couple months ago and was so excited to find the Nail Bar right up the street from me. The first time I went in I got a new set of acrylics. They looked okay, but after four days they began to chip and break. (I have an office job, btw. It’s not hard on my nails). I was pretty unhappy with the quality, or lack thereof, but I decided to give them another shot. Two weeks later I made an appointment for a fill. When I showed up at my appointment time they told me it would be a half hour wait after I watched them take a walk-in ahead of me, so I left. Fast forward to today: I decide to try once more for a fill. Third time is the charm, right? When I arrived a young man immediately began to remove the gel from my acrylics. He was moving too quickly and clearly didn’t know what he was doing. He cut my finger before getting up to allow a young woman to finish. Although I was the only person in the place, she was in such a hurry that SHE CUT ME TOO. Twice. They are rude and obviously don’t care about the quality of their work. Go literally anywhere else, I’m begging you. At least my manicure is cute this time.

Normally I really enjoy going here for pedicures. This visit was not great, I left feeling the same way I went in. The lady who did my feet did less than I do daily and that’s disappointing when you’re paying so much. The entire process took 5-7 mins which is crazy to me and didn’t feel relaxing at all, there was no one else waiting so I was confused about the rush…also, my feet are honestly nice lol so the thought of her not wanting to work on me is not an issue lol. Another issue this visit was cleanliness, my foot bath was really dirty, hair and other stuff in and around my foot spa. She did cut my nails, but they were uneven and she didn’t file them. I hate leaving a bad review, but hopefully they will read this and show a little more care with their customers going forward. I will go back, but if my next visit is anything like this one… It will be my last visit for sure! Seems like the male employees are more invested in customer service.
