Nail Fantasy by Zelda – Zelda did a wonderful job on my hair. I have very thick unruly hair and she made it look great. I am on vacation and live far from here. I REALLY wish I could have her for my regular hairdresser. Zelda is a very lovely, interesting person and the shop is small and nice. The negative comments are ridiculous.

I have been going to Zelda to have my nails done for over 10 years and she goes out of her way to find times that are convenient for me. This was also true for my mother, who has now passed away. My mom loved Zelda’s pedicures, refusing to have anyone else. She was crazy about the creative nails Zelda did and would show all of her friends. Zelda is very creative, using both her art background and natural grasp of design and color to have you leaving her shop with gorgeous nails that guarantee many compliments.

I was on vacation when I broke a nail. I arrived to find the salon closed. She explained when I called the number on the door she was by appointment only and was completely booked. I explained the situation and she was willing to fit me in. I’m from Chicago and they do great nails there. Zelda’s work was amazing, timely, professional, and comparable to Chicago nail salons. Prices were super reasonable and affordable. I could’ve easily paid close to double what she charged me to get a full set with two nails decorated with rhinestones in Chicago. I will definitely book an appointment and come visit her when we visit Daytona Beach next summer.

I’ve been a manicure-pedicure customer for 30+ years. 10 years ago Zelda went back to school to learn hair cut, color and design. Shes excellent at both! I have short, naturally curly hair I wear symmetrically and Zelda does a great job. I even took up her suggestion that I add a touch of purple to my deep red hair with a swath of black color and I love it! Given that I’m 72 years old, it’s a daring move! And I would never have thought of doing so myself! I’m definitely not ready to be the natural grey haired old lady!!!

I didn’t know she only does appointments… so I was very fortunate when I knocked on the door and she had no other clients so she could help me. I just wanted a nail removal and that’s all I asked for. She went above and beyond for me and a soaked my poor hurt thumb in warm salt water before soaking the acrylic off. She confirmed my actual nail was ok and it wasn’t separated, so she could put another tip and acrylic on it. She didn’t have the same color so she took it upon herself to bedazzle the nail and make it look like some sort of sparkly accent nail. After she finished she told me to text her the next day because she wanted to make sure I was okay and of it continued to bother me I could come back in and she’d help me again. I didn’t know she only does appointments… so I was very fortunate when I knocked on the door and she had no other clients so she could help me. Didn’t even make it in the door. Open sign was on but she had it locked. I looked in window and she finally unlocked the door. “Are you open? I ask of course and she said I am but I am busy for the next couple hours If she would have said it without a scowl on her face like I was intruding it would have been ok maybe. Or just keep your door open and explain when people walk in that it’s only you and you are booked. Idk I never make comment but if looks could kill I’d be dead…and it just ticked me off a little
