Okay. First time trying them out explained what I wanted. Asked for feedin braids for my daughter, this is what I received. Was charged $140 for this hairstyle that honestly I could’ve done myself so much better. Would post a pic of my hair but that’s being shared to fb for public opinions. I suggest braiders shouldn’t braid so tight and if you can’t do something please don’t say you can! Thanks

I came for a silk press and all I can say is wow! The curls stayed in for the next morning and after continuing to wrap my hair every night it continued to look like I was getting it done every day! The blowout lasted for a long time before I put water to my hair and when I did my curls bounced right back. No heat damage or nothing! I was starting to think I had a perm the way the silk press stayed straight for so long it was genuinely amazing. Love it 10/10

I WAS a third time customer at this salon until I was over charged and the owner refuses to call me back or refund what was took by their employee in error! I understand mistakes happen but the fact the that owner BLOCKED MY NUMBER is totally uncalled for. HOW RUDE!!!!!! I DID NOTHING WRONG HERE BUT SUPPORT THIS LOCAL HAITAIN BUSINESS!!!! I have tried to reach out to the owner multiple times, BUT now I will continue to tell my friends and family to STAY AWAY FROM THIS SALON!

They over charged my elderly mum when she took my daughter in to get braids. They also took the extra braids my little one took with her and said they used it. Once the main manager left the store , this is when all the craziness happened. I will not let my daughter, family or friends go back to this place. They were making fun or the lady doing my daughter’s hair and told her to go do something else so someone else would take over. This is very unprofessional and I think this is what they did to scam my mum out of the hair product that we bought and took to the store. My daughter felt very uncomfortable and when and if you decide to go here, make sure you pay in advance.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI came in on a Friday and in less than a week I already have to take the braids out. The experience was subpar. As soon as I walked in and showed the style I wanted, the lady made a grimace.. I asked if it’s because they can’t do that style and she told me “no it’s just everyone wants that now”. That should’ve been my sign to go but I needed my hair done. They didn’t know I understood French and Haitian Creole and was speaking about my choice of hair color in a disrespectful way (613 mixed with 27 which I’ve done before and loved). The lady apologized after realizing I understood what they said. The total was more than I was told at the beginning. Not worth the price at all, I would’ve taken it out 3 days after but kept thinking about how much I’ spent! It was done so tight, too much gel, and the ends were not even so I only wore it in a bun or ponytail. I usually get a lot of compliments when I get braids.. not this time. The woman before me had issues with her hairstylist too and being overcharged. Just an overall gossip environment and people who looked like they hated what they did for a living. I didn’t realize this place had changed its name and changed location. I guess that was a good thing cause I would not have gone otherwise. I’m glad I got to give them another chance. I had a bad service a while back and never gave them a chance to resolve. The owner is genuinely a nice person and very knowledgeable and caring. My silk press came out great.

It was our first visit to the salon to retwist our locks . Nadege have welcomed us with a smil and encouraged us to wait for service because they were busy. Before getting service we asked her how much it costs to retwists .She said it was $75 each with styling. By the time we were done the stylists told us the price was $75. Well, when we were about to pay the price changed to $190 for both of us . Nadege could not give us a clear explanation for the price hike and it was obvious that all the stylists were surprised at the price.
