Depends on who you met that washes/treat/set/dry your hair, I’m not sure all of them are professional, language is also a barrier. They don’t really scratches the hair like a typical domincan salons I have been to. Most times, it still feels like your hair is dirty and not washed probably maybe cos I’m used to domincan sparkle though same language barrier but washes hair real good, 4 to 6 times shampooing your hair unlike them 2 times wash no thorough washing using the hand all over the hair.

I’m very disappointed WITH this hair salon! I was looking for a new salon and thought I found the right one. I wanted to have my hair highlighted and Naby deliberately failed to ADVISE me that my hair was too thin to be highlighted particularly since I have alopecia! Even after examining my hair she continued to highlight it. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Right now I’M PRAYING THAT MY HAIR WON’T FALL OUT! Then she had the nerve to charge me $90! Ladies beware. She’s out for the money. SAD. I agree with the other review about the talking Spanish as if though we don’t know what you’re saying. Your body language and emphasis on certain words tells it all!

Critical: Professionalism, QualityMy mother went to her for highlights and her hair came out orange. She let my mother think the color was OK. I went back the next day and asked her to fix my mother’s hair bc it’s orange and brassy. She stated she cannot let bleach stay on long because it would damage her hair. SHE DID NOT EXPLAIN THIS TO MY MORHER WHEN SHE ASKED FOR HIGHLIGHTS THE DAY BEFORE. If she stated her hair would not be able to handle bleach she would of just asked for a rinse. She should not have attempted to highlight it knowing her hair couldn’t handle it and would not turn to blonde. I went to this place this morning because my stylist is on vacation. The 2 women in there were very rude. They seemed like I was interrupting them and that they didn’t want my business. The prices say “wash/set $15 and up”. My hair is not long but she said begrudgingly – $27.00. When I asked her why price was sooo high – she literally ignored and proceeded to continue with something else. When I showed her the business card I received stating that seniors got a 20% discount – she acted like she didn’t understand. I understand they speak Spanish but someone should be bilingual to assist customers. I sat down to wait and she said something to the other one who looked me up and down and said something back. That’s when I gathered my belongings and promptly left. I don’t want bad JUJU in my hair. Horrible place and I’ll NEVER return.

This place is a blessing for me as I just moved to South Orange New Jersey and Nabi Dominican Salon is located just a block and a half away from my new house. This place is clean professional and prices are great the service is amazing the talent is superb and the wait time is 5 minutes if that. I highly recommend Nabi Dominican Salon to everyone and anyone ❤❤❤
