Critical: ValueI have been looking for a new stylist since mine of 10+ years retired. I really wanted to like this salon. It is close to my home, and has flexible hours. My previous stylist charged me $120 for an hour of full salon service. Wash, cut, entire head of highlights or color, beverages. $10 extra for waxing.I do not have a vehicle, sometimes she would pick me up and take me home. I called Mystique to make an appointment for 2 people. Voicemail. No response.2 days later I call again. I get a person, who is like why are you calling, we will call you to set up an appointment. Okay. I get a text. Okay. We go in, early, finally stylist shows.Oh my gosh, I am late but I did not expect you to be here already.Okay. Well I am going to use dry technique, but still charge you full over price for a mediocre haircut. It is not new, my previous stylist used the same technique after wash, cut, and blow dry. I believe the technique she was using was the one where she saved money on product and time by overcharging me. $120+tip for 2 haircuts. No wash, no style, no service. I could have went to Fantastic Sams, or Supercuts and paid less. I had the service of staring at naval and cleavage my entire haircut. A sheer work coat would have been better.
