Positive: ProfessionalismI met Hao over a month ago after losing my original stylist. After calling several salons in San Jose where I work, and being told the next appointment was a month or more out, I decided to check out reviews for stylist in Gilroy, and Hao’s name popped up. Gave her a call, explained my situation and she made time for me the next day. She did a quick trim and color touch up on the first appointment, and showed me a new method for blow drying my wavy hair straight so I don’t have to use the straightener every day. She’s very skilled and knowledgeable and of course I promptly booked her for my next haircut. She used to cut hair in Cupertino, but the Gilroy salon brings her closer to home. Their loss, our gain! 2nd appointment and I’m super pleased with my new cut, color and new highlight color. And yes, her blow dry trick works! I just had a Brazilian blowout by Hao and she did an incredible job! I have very thick, wavy, and highlighted long hair. She was very thorough and made sure that she treated every stand of hair. My last stylist did my hair for 15+ years but she’s in Salinas and in her late 70s so ready to retire. I started seeing a new local girl but she’s only ok. Not loving her & willing to change. And then I came across the reviews for Hao and had to give her a chance—and she was so worth it! My first appointment with Hao was for cut & root touch up & it was a great experience. Her cut of my fine long, hair gave me gave me a style & body. And she covered all my grays, which the other girl could never seem to manage. I already scheduled my follow up appointment with Hao.

It was my first time visiting with my mom, and I got both a haircut (layered medium cut from longer hair) and a reapplication of highlights (root touch-up and more bleach and toner).
