Critical: Professionalism, QualityI wanted to give it a try despite of the bad reviews but IT Is NOT THE PLACE . The lady who got my nails “done” was very unprofessional and 100% of the time was Very rude . She hurt me trying to cut my cuticle and when using the nail drill did the same and despite of bleeding never said a sorry .Definitely…. Never getting back and avoid to come here . Ah, I forgot to mentioned: I got the deep powder which is supposed to last three weeks …. Two days later three of my nails were totally out because she didn’t use the ED light.. all for the same $55 plus tip . Critical: Professionalism, QualityCritical: QualityMy pedicure was horrendous, my toes are extremely short and the paint job was god awful. One of toes was cut so short from the SIDE it looks gone. Awful awful awful. I have acrylic nails on and they were all over the place. I asked for the powder and was so tick and bubbly. I went there the next day and the technician Ann or something like that was so rude and she refused to fix them. I have to go to another nails salon to re-do my nails. I have to pay twice for nails. Critical: QualityMy husband gets his pedicures here and loves them. But I finally had enough a few years ago. It depends on who you get whether they’re decent or not, but it’s hard for me to schedule an appointment so I’m always a walk-in. I asked for an eyebrow wax. Before I could say a word, I had wax on my upper lip. Luckily my son was getting married 4 days later so the swelling went down by then. (I’m blonde! I don’t have a mustache). Some of them cut the skin around your toes too much, creating problems that didn’t exist before, some cut the nails wrong, and have created ingrown toenails. Most are very nice but there are a couple who are not – and they don’t mind having arguments with each other in front of you. It depends on who you get whether they’re decent or not, but it’s hard for me to schedule an appointment so I’m always a walk-in. I asked for an eyebrow wax. The price is great, color lasts long (2+ weeks and I am not careful with my feet), and Mai cleans up the nails that dig into my skin like no one else I’ve seen in the area.This place is no-frills in terms of ambiance but they do have extra treatments/options if you prefer. The staff are friendly and flexible- I’ve brought my kids as infants to hold while I get my nails done and they are very accommodating- even holding and entertaining baby if they have the time.The place is very popular with regulars, but they do take walk-ins and are accurate with time estimates (it’s convenient to have shopping options available if you have a 15 min wait for not booking an appointment)I’ve tried a few fancier places in the area with okay results.
