My Favorite Feet Massage

Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityToday I got a massage here and the man couldn’t understand me that gave me my massage.I was telling him about 30 times it was too hard and he was hurting me to the point where I can feel where I’m going to get bruises. It wasn’t relaxing whatsoever. And at the point where you get wiped down with hot towels the towels were cold and wet and smelled like rubbing alcohol leaving my skin with a burning itching feeling. Then he proceeded to give me the rest of the massage without lotion on my dry skin which really hurt. It also felt very rushed. I have gone here quite a few times before it’s nothing to write home about.Though this time I couldn’t relax the entire time to the point where I feel I need to get a massage somewhere else to relax from this experience. I’m not saying I wouldn’t go back because it is very close to my house it’s convenient and well priced. I would’ve appreciated after telling the person at the Front desk when she asked how my massage was. I relayed that I didn’t have a good massage maybe they could’ve compensated me. If I do end up having bruises I will go back and complain. I probably will not continue business there anytime soon. I don’t know the gentleman‘s name but if you’re somebody that likes really deep tissue massages I think he would be perfect for you l. They lack of communications skills and understanding their customers. This is a big put off!! I feel as though for a company you shouldn’t have to have a translator come in to make sure that everything is to your liking. No one did come in to see if I was OK and no one asked me anything I was taken to the room and given someone that couldn’t understand me . I feel like they should at least learn enough words to communicate with the person that they are working on. In the past it hasn’t been a problem but today it was. And as I said it’s nothing to write home about I go to a place called Izumi but they book up really fast so I chose to go here I think I will just wait next time for the other place because they are amazing also I have a membership there. Never have I left in pain or have to correct them on the massage itself. All I can say is go here knowing that you may not leave feeling better. This was also for a full body massage not what they’re down for but I feel like if you don’t have people that are capable of giving a proper massage be a place for just foot massages.
