This is a small business that is worth checking out! Nivia is super friendly, and the shop is clean and nicely decorated. Their services are reasonably priced. Stay away from the big chains and support small business- try Slim and Clean!

Critical: QualityI really contemplated not leaving a review but felt I had to warn others. I went in to get waxed yesterday and I am not happy. I don’t know the name of the person since she never introduced herself to me. To give some context- I have had laser hair removal years ago and get waxed regularly so my hair is sparse, so waxing is not too difficult for me and I am familiar with the process. My skin was not held taught when pulling the strips and it was not pulled parallel with the skin but rather out which cause heaving bruising, tearing, and pain. Today when I took a closer look at the bruises and damaged skin I also see that it doesn’t even look like I had a wax. My legs, Brazilian and underarms still have hair which I will have to wax myself once my skin heals. The most frustrating thing about the situation is that these issues are easily remedied by proper care, attention, experience, and knowledge. I don’t know the name of the person since she never introduced herself to me. Slim&Clean is a great place to take care of yourself and relax. First time I went there, I was impressed not only by how clean the salon is but also by the awesome customer service. Nivia is super careful and will always greet you with a smile, and she definitely knows how to make you feel special. All the procedures I have had so far have been professionally performed and the results are WOW. I would 100% recommend this place.

I remember the first time I came here; I was so nervous and anxious because it was my first time getting a Brazilian wax. Let me tell you, Nivia, is the absolute best! I’m so glad my friend referred me to her. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied and comfortable. Her salon is decorated so pretty and it’s always so clean. I’ve been to other waxing places before, but honestly none of them compare to her. I highly recommend her.

The owner is very nice and very skilled. I had multiple areas waxed. There was minimal discomfort and the areas are completely smooth! Hands down the best full body waxing service I’ve had anywhere. I used to go to the more well-known, location-in-every-strip-mall, not going to name names but if you wax locally you know who I mean, and I would break out horribly after every service. I assumed this was just my lot in life, as it has happened at a few other providers. Then I went to Nivia. She’s gentle, she takes her time, she’s thorough, and somehow, I NEVER break out now (she does use a different wax supplier than the storefronts I was previously seeing.) I cannot recommend her enough. Having hair ripped out is never comfortable, but with Nivia it hurts the least I’ve ever experienced.
