From the moment I called for an appointment (they do take walk ins, too) everyone was extremely helpful. I’ve been searching for a good nail salon and, because of the reviews, chose to go to MVK. Best decision I could have made! Michelle was my nail person, and she was super knowledgeable and very gentle. I walked in with a botched job from a place in Florida, and Michele was able to fix it. My SNS is now two weeks old and still going strong. I highly recommend this place and will be returning for more manicures!

I asked for an American manicure & the Tech started painting my nails with white polish…I stopped her & she showed me the bottle that said “American”! I have gotten my nails done in many nail shops over the 30 years & tried to explain what it was & the owner overheard the conversation & tried to explain that that was exactly what I asked for. Well, I tried to explain that it’s close to a French but not real white. This owner was very rude & said”take the gel off if she don’t want it”! Yes, I want gel but not white fingernails. He walked out & called back in to talk about me & see what I did & to make sure I was paying for gel…I wanted gel but then said”leave it clear”. My Tech then walked away & came back with exactly what I was asking for, in the beginning! She was very sweet but if I treated customers the way he did…I would not have a business. I have 12 retail wireless stores & always listen before making a decision. I won’t go back there & will not recommend this place. My Tech, Tammy did a great job & was very sweet! What nail salon doesn’t know what an American Manicure is?

I am happy with MVK, formally Northerners Nails and Spa. I have been a regular at Northerners for over a year and a half but with a busy schedule it’s been a couple of months since getting my nails done and I wasn’t aware of the change in ownership. I was a little bit nervous that the prices may have gone up or to not have the same great service. But nothing to worry about here MVK is just as affordable and even faster service today. Love this place and will have having my bridal party here next month for our nails the day before my wedding ❤️
