Multidimensional Bodywork

  5.0 – 13 reviews   • Massage therapist

Multidimensional bodywork includes movement, guided meditation, stretch, kinetic integration, and intensive listening. I will be there to help you along your path as you experience the connection between mind and body. I am not a deep tissue therapist, but I can recommend wonderful colleagues who are. In order to mitigate risks of Covid19 transmission, I’d like to offer my services outdoors (fully clothed, and with masks). I require all new clients to send a picture of their drivers license & vaccine record. Please feel free to look at my website and contact me for more possibilities and information.

Hannah is one of the most considerate and multifaceted body work therapists I have had the grace of working with. Hannah does a lot of active listening throughout the session so you feel safe and heard and always checks in to ensure that you are comfortable. I remember one time I fell asleep and did not know that my feet weren’t as warm as the rest of my body so Hannah provided some extra warmth. So welcoming, so kind, and just a great space to relax because of the breadth of services (I chose the massage, the salt scrub, and the cocooning session and came out reborn). So thankful to have Hannah as a person who can help me take care of myself on a seasonal to monthly basis – can’t wait to see her again!

Hannah does absolutely amazing work. I just had my first massage with her and I have only good things to say. Beyond just the massage (which feels AMAZING), she makes the whole experience very comfortable. She’s really receptive to hearing about what you like/what’s working/how much pressure to apply, etc. and the whole session felt designed to meet my needs. I would highly recommend her if you’re looking for a massage therapist in the Chapel Hill area. Great price for the service. I will definitely be going back!

As a victim of chronic pain I can sometimes be left not knowing where to turn. This is how I stumbled upon Hannah! While I have been a client of Hannah’s I am able to keep pushing forward. Her positive mentality is infectious and results in always leaving the session in a better mindset than the one arrived in. The atmosphere created in the comfort of their lovely home by the sounds, smells, and self made artwork inspire the natural healing journey to begin. The massage itself needs no introduction as Hannah is always receptive to what you need and is absolutely a valuable asset to anyone on the path to recovery! Good luck and remember to keep going!

Hannah is a tremendously skilled bodyworker. She’s also a joy to be around, a wonderfully compassionate soul who brings a healing and holistic perspective to her work. Over a few sessions, she alleviated a bothersome back concern, and I’ve continued to see her regularly, as I always feel both uplifted and more grounded after a visit. Highly recommended!

Very talented! Hannah is kind and talented. So very caring. Hannah asked for detailed feedback and at my next visit they incorporated all the different ideas I shared about how I like to receive a massage.

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI had my first-ever massage with Hannah at Multidimensional Bodywork. It was GREAT! Hannah pulled out all the stops to make sure I was comfortable with everything and wasn’t in pain. She really worked through a lot of the problem points I have in my upper back and shoulders with ease and expertise. I cannot recommend her enough!

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityHannah combines all the qualities I most value in a massage therapist. She has strong hands and great endurance, she’s compassionate and genuinely cares about the experience of the client (both on and off the table), and she’s fun to spend time with. At my first appointment with her, I was really feeling the effects of not having had a massage during the first eight months of the pandemic. When I got off the table, I felt better than I had even before lockdown, both physically and mentally. Those effects lasted for a long time. I think that’s because Hannah has a truly holistic approach, combining assisted stretching (which really shifted some things that had been locked in uncomfortable patterns for years) and intuitive muscle/fascia work. Because her work goes beyond the physical, I always leave feeling like I’ve had a soul-level tune-up, feeling grounded, calm, and content. After my most recent session with Hannah, my sleep tracker recorded my best night of sleep yet! Finally, I’m grateful for her outdoor approach. I wouldn’t feel safe getting a massage at the moment any other way, and being outside brought a beautiful element to the experience. I’m delighted to have found Hannah!Hannah combines all the qualities I most value in a massage therapist. Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityHannah at Multidimensional Bodywork is great! This was the first massage I’ve ever had and Hannah was the best person I could have picked. She made sure I understood the process and felt comfortable and safe. Their space is calm and relaxing and I felt right at home immediately. Hannah is extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer my many questions both online and in person. She even sent me home with some exercises I could do to improve my posture and flexibility. An incredibly calming and cathartic experience. Goes beyond massage and enters almost more into the realm of therapy. Healing is the best descriptor I can think to apply.

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI have been searching for a quality masseuse that understands how to read the muscles and interpret what their client is saying. As an avid cyclist and in general very active person, most of my pain and discomfort stems from lack of stretching and sitting due to my job. Hannah understood my complaints and suggested we begin with stretching. While this may sound minimal, the stretches she used relieved a large portion of my discomfort. Since, I have booked Multidimensional Bodywork five times. Each session has not been what I would refer to as a scripted bodywork, but a dynamic full-body therapy.I would highly recommend Multidimensional Bodywork and specifically Hannah to anyone in need of massage therapy and bodywork.
