This salon is from soup to nuts with their customer service. It is a very friendly salon. I had my hair done by Samantha. She is a very talented young woman. She listened to what kind of person I was and what I did for a living, therefore, don’t need a hairstyle that requires much maintenance. Her eye for color highlighting is exquisite. I loved how she washed my hair, and styled it. I never like when that is done by a stylist, but she is just perfect. There was a customer that was waiting to have Samantha do a blow out. After I saw what Samantha did to my hair, I totally understood why this woman wanted to wait to have Samantha do her hair. I’m just pleased with the entire experience with the salon and have already recommended it to my friends. Thank you Ms. Sam for a beautiful experience. I LOVE MY HAIR. Susan

New to the area, I needed a hair stylist in Great Barrington. I read the reviews of Mulberry and made an appointment with Caroline. I was so happy with my experience at the salon. Caroline was absolutely a pleasure. She completely understood what I wanted and I think that she provided the best cut of my wavy/curly hair that I’ve every had! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her! Lastly, the products that she uses are fantastic, as well!

Everyone was very nice and professional. Susan nailed it coloring my hair and Philippe spent a lot of time cutting my hair, giving me a beautiful cut. It was getting too hard to schedule regular cuts in the city since moving to the Berks. Thrilled to have found a good fit. It’s located in an old building, exquisitely renovated into an inviting, happy space.

Love this place. I’ve been a couple of times and have always loved my cut. Especially nice for queer people looking for a stylist who won’t refuse to give them exactly what they want – unlike many other places, I’ve never had anyone here tell me they won’t cut my hair any shorter because I’ll “look like a boy.” I will say that it’s pretty dang expensive – I paid 80$ for a really simple, basic haircut, no coloring or anything. The only other con is that actually finding the building is hard; I’ve been there three or four times and still get lost on my way there. But overall, would definitely recommend.
