Been getting my nails done here for years. They care so much about providing a beatific product. The one time I didn’t like my nails, they bent over backwards to make sure they were just how I liked them. Plus they’re like family, now. 🙂

They are very friendly and efficient. My gel manicure looks great, however when removing my set of acrylic nails, they used nail clippers to peel them off. It hurts and damages the natural nail. But for a regular manicure I would go again

They have 2 small dogs that they let up on chairs and are not sanitized afterwards. The girl I had was constantly talking on the phone and it was very distracting. I had someone else with me who received a pedicure and they said the guy was working on her feet and went back and forth between her and another customer without changing gloves or sanitizing his hands.

Not going back there. They ruined my nails by keeping my fingers wrapped in nail polish remover and foil for 15-20 minutes. If you can’t accept walk-ins, don’t! Don’t make people wait with acetone ruining their nails. Moreover, the nail technician did a horrible job filing and painting the nails. I have given this place a few tries until the most recent and the most terrible experience.

I have been going to Mt Airy Nails for years! I do not go on a regular basis but every time I do go, everyone is very friendly and they do a great job. My gel manicures always last for three weeks 🙂 They will give you reduced prices if you pay in cash, which is a huge plus!

So disappointed to write this review. We’ve been going to this salon since my girls were in 6th grade (they are now 19)…in fact this was their first experience ever getting their nails done. Overall we have enjoyed our “girl time” here. The past few times I have been, I’ve noticed the attention when you get the male technicians is not the same…Vincent is great…it is the other gentleman that is difficult. I expressed this the last time I was there and was told to ask for the Spa Pedicure. My daughter made this appointment for us yesterday and was paying for mine so I didn’t ask for the extra $10 to have longer massage…but I did pay attention. Not only was the cuticle work he did extremely painful (I finally asked him to stop and my toe is hurting today because of it) but he did maybe 1/4 of the massage that my daughter received and that Leigh did for the other woman at the same time. My water in the chair was barely warm and he didn’t pay attention when I said I wanted French and then seemed put off because they had to do that. I also think we were overcharged. I expressed my disappointment to Leigh and her response was unfortunately, too bad. You got what you paid for. Not so…she and the other technician used a foot prop for their customers and did lengthy massage on the calves and feet…I got none of that. Needless to say, I and my daughters will not be going back. I know we were only in there 2-3 times per year, but it truly was our “home”…and it’s sad they didn’t see us the same way.

Quality service and staff and owners are very personable. Been going there for 15 yrs. I where acrylic over my nails. I garden, paint, caulk etc and rarely have breaks. Gel nails not as tuff as acrylic in my experience. Wonderful to go two weeks and not have to repaint your nails! Get the acrylic filled in about every 17 days. Your hands look professionally groomed all the time for about $1.50 day and thats is with two designs.

I Had an appointment for a pedicure and i was taken back on time but i Wont be going back unless i want a quick cheap so so pedicure. I still had caluses on my feet when i left there they dont rub your feet or calves for more than 60 seconds one of my toe nails wasnt even filed down evenly even after i pointed it out! then i was left to sit there for an hour waiting for a female to paint a flower on 2 of my big toes the female was very nice and drew a pretty flower but the male who did my pedicure just did not do that good of a job things were missed that shouldnt of been and the 60 second massage wasnt even a masaage i was not 100% happy with it but for 32$ i guess u get what u pay for! As far as the other employees there i hope they do better jobs than the guy i got did!
