Critical: QualityThis is my first review of anywhere but my experience really upset me today. I am someone who barely splurges on herself but I have a wedding to go to this weekend and finally broke the habit of biting my nails. The lady at the front desk talked me into a mani saying I’ll get a hand massage and oils and stuff. None of that happened. Just simple file, cuticle, paint. I just wanted French tips. Everyone was so sweet so I felt bad but the French tips were uneven, clumpy, and jagged looking. Not the elegant classy look I was going for. So after a couple of attempts I finally say to just paint it simple. I was so upset I spent $30 on these nails. Not to mention she didn’t even clean up the white all on my fingertips and even stuck under my nail from her attempting to stamp the white on. Very upset and will continue to go to Queen Nail Spa in Basalt. Definitely worth the extra 15 minute drive. I went to MS Salon, I took my daughter, and Maria did an amazing job with highlights. My daughter was very happy, so was I. The staff were very friendly and polite. I would recommend this salon to all my clients as I do private chef all in the valley.

The technicians are really lovely & do a good job. The woman who runs the front desk is super rude and snobby. I really don’t know what I’m doing wrong with her… I’m always super polite, I tip 30% or more, and she’s literally looked down on me and told me there’s no appointments at all for me twice once for eyelash extensions and once for a gel mani pedi appointment. I’m gonna take the nasty hint and take my business elsewhere.

Went since I was in a pinch and was going to have a full acrylic set. They said that it was a mistake on their website so I went with a gel manicure. She did a great job but not I’m here 2 days later on vacation and the gel is already chipping and bubbling off. Spent like $40 or $50 for them to come off in 2 days when they should last at least 7-10 days. Not very happy about it but nice people.
