I had the best salon experience of my life today — Mr. Henry is magnificent! I had a wedding coming up unexpectedly and thought I’d try to see if Mr. Henry could fit me in — he was fully booked but when I explained the situation to his wife — they figured out a way to fit me in. I just loved how much time he took with me and explained things to me about my hair that no other person has taken the time to explain to me. And I walked out of there with a great haircut. I can’t say enough about how great it felt to be treated with such care and consideration. He knows what he’s doing and is such a kind person. This was my first visit but it won’t be my last.

I found Henry in the yellow pages over 7 years ago when I wrecked my hair using a box color. The ad said he fixed hair emergencies and he did! When I left that day no one could tell I had anything but pretty hair. To me at the time it was like a miracle and I have been a loyal customer ever since. Now my hair has never looked as healthy or had such natural color since I was in my 20’s and 30’s. I am in my 60’s now. Henry is an expert stylist, permanent hair straightener and colorist; he understands hair at a scientific level. His goal is to see his customers love their hairstyle when they leave Mr.Henry’s. In addition to the salon, Lillian’s Closet, which was created by his wife Mary, is a lovely little shop of handmade jewelry, books and gift items. They are both wonderful, generous, & caring people. I am fortunate to have him as my stylist.

I love Mr. Henry’s salon!! His use of the Japanese blades to cut hair is so much better than normal scissors. I also love the mineral treatment he does! It makes your hair so soft and so much lighter, and the hair is a light color! It does this by removing bad minerals that like to sit in your hair. So wonderful!! Thanks Mr. Henry!!
