Phenomenal experience at Moxie Saddle Brook! I called for a day of appointment to get hair and makeup done as a bridesmaid and I’m so lucky they had time for me. Princess did my hair and was extremely patient, spending a long time with me to get my half up/half down look to be exactly what I wanted. I got tons of compliments all night long and was still holding strong almost 12 hours later. Jennifer did my makeup and I felt comfortable in her hands, the final look was a special occasion look but not over the top. Mandy is my go to for everything, but I have always been happy with every stylist. The amount of compliments I receive every time I get my hair done is absurd. Rip off!! I called for an appointment for my daughter. Just a trim, I said on the phone and they even asked me how old my daughter was. She is 14. We arrived at Noon sharp and the stylist is not there yet. It was just a trim, so I figured 30 min max. Almost an hour later I see my daughter still getting her hair cut so I decide to pay for her service in the meantime. Girl at the register tells me it is $108!!! I was like whaaat?? for a trim? I asked for JUST a trim. She proceeds to tell me they did deep conditioning and a “curly cut” (whatever that is). I explained over and over again that I only asked for a trim and if they wanted to upgrade the services to talk to me, the paying adult. My 14 year old daughter has no clue and no decision making power. The girl at the register did not know how to deal with this situation at all. A manager approached and was able to get the conditioning off. Still with tip and everything it came down to $80!!! for JUST a trim!!! Which it came out totally uneven. Stop ripping people off and be transparent. Who pays $80 for a 1 inch trim!? Also, you pay more because you have soft curly hair? Sad because we liked going there and it was convenient. Definitely not coming back and making sure I keep sharing this experience.

Such a great experience! All of the staff was extremely nice and so accommodating. Just the environment you want to be in when getting your hair done. Not to mention my hair looks exactly how I wanted it to! Would definitely recommend Balayage, Blowouts, Hair glazing, Haircut

Yikes! I waited 50 minutes and the stylist still wasn’t able to take me (running super late). Then she leaned on one of the mobile tray tables and the leg snapped and hit me in the knee as it fell to the floor. I left because I just couldn’t wait any longer and felt like this haircut/balayage would have been a disaster.

This fun, upbeat salon provides the best treatment around. From start to finish, the women that work at Moxie in Saddle Brook make you feel important and glamours. Their goal is not to change how you look, but accentuate your beauty and raise your self confidence. I promise that for any treatment you step in to the salon for, your expectations will be topped by these highly skilled hairdressers/ makeup artists.
