Awesome experience and quality service! Meredith did a fabulous job with the keratin treatment. It was my first one so I was a little bit nervous but she answered all my questions and gave me lots of instructions for how to manage it so that the treatment lasts longer and offered great suggestions on products to use with keratin treated hair.

Critical: ValueI was disappointed with this salon. I feel they over charge for their services. I was charged for a base and highlight. The stylist put in two foils worth of highlights their website states “Mohawk” highlight and/or sides. I was definitely ripped off because I paid full price. Needless to say I wont be going back especially when my hair didn’t even come out close to what i wanted and I was overcharged. I was disappointed with this salon. I feel they over charge for their services. I was charged for a base and highlight. The stylist put in two foils worth of highlights their website states “Mohawk” highlight and/or sides. I was definitely ripped off because I paid full price. I’ve visited twice now and this will be my last time. Left unhappy both times- my blow out didn’t last and I felt like it actually dried my hair out – which I don’t experience at any other blow out bar or salon. The service is not the greatest as well. My first visit they were super professional and nice – this time around the receptionist and whom I’m assuming was the manager (not sure) were busy having a conversation about booking time while I paying – not much attention towards my transaction. The ATM was broken and I was going to ask where I could get cash for tip but was basically ignored. The plus is that they are open early and can usually get you in same day if needed.

Zero stars would be appropriate in this situation. Meredith is beyond awful. There are no words for just how awful. The young woman at the front desk on 11/16 might be one of cruelest and meanest people anyone will ever come in contact with. On every level she is wrong and should not be in customer service. The fact that Moxie even allows her to answer their phones tells me that something is clearly wrong with their business and management team.

I went to Moxie to get a spray tan, and the last time I got one was amazing! I had very high expectations for the second time. The lady I had was very nice, and she gave me clear instructions, and I had to ask her to get my legs again because I did not think she got them enough. Turns out, she barely touched them with the spray because after my shower the next morning, the color is completely faded off my legs in relation to the rest of my body. My feet and my top area is more tan than my stomach and my legs. I would not suggest going to Moxie for a spray tan unless you are confident your associate is precise with making it even. My lady seemed rushed because by the time I left the changing room, she was gone and walking out the door to her car….

Just left and that’s how unhappy I am I felt the need to write a review immediately. When asked what I wanted to do with my hair I was very specific – even went as far as pointing out someone in the salon who had the exact blow out I was hoping to achieve. As the girl (will leave her name out) started, I noticed she was curling my hair when I asked her not to from the start. I stopped her just to confirm she knew I wanted it straight, and assured me she had it under control. When she finished and my hair was a far cry from what I requested, I told her I was nervous how this would hold up given I had some time before my event. She replied with, “Well I’ve never gotten a complaint before so you’ll be fine”. I don’t think my hair looks bad, but I can’t say it looks good and it’s certanly not what I asked for. Very unhappy.

Made my first appointment at Moxie for eye brow threading for 5:30. I waited 18 minutes for someone to be ready then sat in a room for another 5 minute while they went looking for the girl. After the 5th minute of sitting in the room and no one coming I put my coat on and went to the front desk. I said never mind to the threading and the girl said oh we realized the wax wasn’t on. I could understand the mix up, however, to not tell me you were waiting for wax to heat up so I could tell you I was there for eye brow threading was wrong. I left without getting my eye brows done. I guess it was a sign. My suggestion work on communicating with people.

Had make up done for daughters christening. Showed picture of myself w the look I was going for. The artist was not warm or fuzzy. I felt like she couldn’t be bothered. Her hands smelled like cigarette smoke. The sun was beaming through the widows hitting the mirrors and white ceiling making it hard to keep eyes open while she was applying eye make up. She did not speak to me other then to say look up down or over. She did not ask me what I was going to be wearing so the make up could complement the dress(white by the way). I had to tell her I was looking for lavender touches. Her work space was a mess. Her bag where she stores the make up she uses was dirty. My eyelashes were uneven and so were my lips. I needed to fix when I got home. When she was done she said ok “that’s it”. I waited a few seconds thinking she’d bring me a mirror to show me finished product NOPE. She said again your all done. I said oh, I guess I’ll go look for a mirror. Had to get up walk to a mirror to see the finished product. I’ve had my make up done elsewhere before. After yesterday’s experience I will not go back to that salon. Customer service needs to be a lot better for the money they charge.
