Critical: ProfessionalismI had the oddest Salon encounter. I had an appointment today for a cut, color and foil. When I sat down I opened a book, was asked to remove my glasses. I asked if she could work around them, she replied “Mam, I can not do a good job coloring your hair with them in place” – I told her I couldn’t see without them. She put her hands in the air and said “I’ve had enough”. I asked if she was having a bad day? – she said “I’ve had enough” and walked away. I gathered by belongings, informed her she allowed me to wear my glasses 7 weeks ago when she did my hair and walked out of the salon. The unfortunate consequence of an encounter such as this, is it reflects poorly on Moxie and everyone that works there. She could have compromised, finished and never taken another appointment with me. I found the Moxie Salon to be very accomodating, even on short notice. Evening appointments are available for the working professionals. My waxing esthetician made me feel welcome and relaxed, like we had been long time friends. She has a wealth of experience and I would recommend to all of my fellow male counterparts to get on a regularly scheduled treatment plan for the wonderful hair pulling benefits of this service. I recently relocated to the Lewiston / Clarkston area and was need of a good hair pulling, (waxing) lol. I found the Moxie Salon to be very accomodating, even on short notice. Evening appointments are available for the working professionals. My waxing esthetician made me feel welcome and relaxed, like we had been long time friends.
