I have been seeing Dr. Gomez since November 2018, at first I will be honest, I was intimidated. I am not a fan of providers, I am uncomfortable in my skin. I did not like the way she approached my bad food choices on my first visit. Since then, she has become more empathetic, giving me feel good speeches and applauding my progress. It is wonderful to leave that office and stand tall and feel good about yourself. GIve her a try, she’s educated and you can enjoy a great experience through her teachings. May I mention also the staff is excellent!! Shout out to Veronica and Lisa, they have made this journey for me a wonderful experience!!!

The staff is great and always willing to help. I started off in the Wellness side first. Dr. Gomez and Jimmie are awesome and always there for any questions. The surgery wasn’t pushed on me. They did offer it if I wanted it. I eventually choose to get the surgery and Dr. McArthur was great. She made me feel comfortable and wanted to make sure I was 100% sure in doing the surgery. Nurse Lisa is a great resource after surgery and would answer any questions. The while staff is really helpful and there to make sure you get the best treatment.

Dr. McArthur saved my life. She is very compassionate and professional. Jimmie helped me stay in line with my diet. Lisa helped tremendously by answering any questions I had. The office staff was always friendly and professional. I always felt supported and that’s why I was successful in my journey. I was so happy that I’m able to continue getting support with nutrition counseling. So thankful for all in the office. Best choice I’ve ever made was to have this surgery here. Its not easy but it’s worth it!

I have been seeing Dr. Gomez for 6 months now. She has really changed my life for the better! She gave me the confidence I needed to be able to make healthier choices. Any time I have a problem she has a suggestion on how to fix it. The whole office environment is really great. I’ve never been to an office where every single person is so encouraging until now. I will never go back to see Dr Gomez again. She needs to have more empathy and learn how to speak to people. She is condescending and demeaning. There is no love in her office, it’s very cold and they rush you along. Information is not well explained and contradicting. She left me feeling like she doesnt care about my success in reaching a better quality of life. Just because she isn’t obese and FAT doesn’t give her the right to call people FAT to their face in front of kids!!! Go see Dr Felts!!

Dr. Gomez and Dr. Mcarthur are excellent at what they do as are the staff they make sure you understand all of the procedures that take place and what you are required to to in order to receive surgery. But Veronica is the star of that place if it wasnt for her i wouldnt have had surgery she was constantly calling me making sure i was doing what i needed to do from dieting to setting certain appointments she even made some appointments for me. She deserves a raise in my opinion

The staff is helpful and was always friendly to me. I’ve been seeing Jimmie Hauser. Of couse she gave me my diet list of what not to eat and what was okay. I followed it but was not losing any weight. She insisted surgery, which i thought was weird for her not knowing the policy and procedures of getting surgery. Come to find out i have to wait 9 months for surgery. I reached out for help because i started having health issues and out of the times i saw her, she was on repeat. Nothing new no medication nothing. There was always an excuse. She was happy to take my insurance money and co-pay but giving good service was a struggle for her. Don’t get me wrong she seems like a great person but not a good Dr. nor helpful in her job area.

There are so many reasons to go to Dr. Felts’ office instead of here. I was lied to since day one by the staff in this office. The person verifying insurance information told me I wouldn’t have any co-pays for the office visits. Turns out that was incorrect. They push the surgery from the beginning and aren’t really interested in helping you lose weight through dieting. So I opted for the surgery. Again, the person verifying insurance information said the insurance was completely covered. But that was another lie. The hospital charged me over $1000.00 for an out patient stay even though I stayed the night at the hospital. Even the doctor charged the admission as in patient which is cheaper than outpatient. Mountain View is only out to make money. Once I had the surgery, I never heard from the office again. I have since transferred to Dr. Felts office with Memorial Medical Center. Huge difference. The staff is friendly and the nutritionist has personal experience with weight loss surgery. Don’t waste your time and money with Mountain View.
