This place is disgusting! they never sweep never dust never mop! And the tanning bed are covered in dust and the walls have tanning lotion all over them and bandaids left from god knows when, I went to the desk about room 6 bed because it is broken the plexiglass is sitting on the bulbs and I went back the next day and the idiots had someone using the tanning bed and hurried to close the door so I wouldn’t see! Not safe!! Not clean!! And the girls do nothing the whole time! Makes me question if the towels are even clean and the beds are really “sanitary” like they say after each use!

My go to tanning place! I love the girls who work there, they are always friendly and let me schedule appointments in advance to make sure I can get in when I want to! Even though it’s busy right now due to spring break and I have to book in advance I think it is way more convenient than sitting and waiting for an available bed like I have in past years. I definitely recommend!

Do not spend your money buying minutes to tan at this place. I have been a customer for years. I recently purchased minutes and have been able to tan 2 times since purchasing them months ago. I have always been able to drop in and tan when it works for my schedule until just after I bought my minutes. The hours of operation changed right after spending a chunk of money and now I have to set an appointment as well. I have tried several times to set appointment but am never able to get in. I have contacted the manager, Taelor as well as Joe Oliveri who is in charge. Basically, I was told tough luck. I am not able to tan or get my money back so I would not recommend spending your money here. Not a very good way to keep your customers.

Mountain Tan has been my favorite place to tan since I’ve moved to Mount Pleasant. The bed are always so clean and I’ve never waited for more than 10 minutes. The staff is extremely friendly, one girl who has brunette hair with blonde in it, usually wearing glasses, has always been so kind when I come in. Always helping recommend the time I should go in with my skin, which bed to go in (laying down standing up), and letting me know the best lotions! I love walking out and the girls always telling me to have a good day. Highly recommend this place!

Recently started going to Mountain Town and I am already a big fan! The staff is always very nice and friendly. The girls were very patient and explained what beds I should try and for what length of time for my skin tone and experience. Additionally, they have nice little touches like a fresh towel, towelette, and complimentary water. Only drawback is that there seems to be only one platinum bed and it’s always busy. Other than that there seems to be a stand up always open.

I have been coming here for awhile now and have always had a good experience, until today. The young girl at the counter (small brunette, glasses, freshman maybe, maybe sophomore) acted rude and inconsiderate. She told me 10 minutes in a 12 min max was the same as 10 minutes in a 15 min max, which proves she is unknowledgable. I talked with some of my sorority sisters and they have had a problem with the same girl. Our hair & nail salon (Sky Salon, I DEFINITELY recommend going there instead!) offers tanning with the same beds, and we will be spending our money there from now on. I won’t deal with girls like that, and neither will my friends!
