Stumbled upon MSB last January so this review is based on a first time visit. I had a simple hair cut done and could not be happier. I did not got the nice lady’s name however I would like to give her props. I told her how I would like my hair done and she took over “like a boss.” I NEVER use that phrase but it is exactly how she handled it. Very polite and calm person.

I’ve been a happy customer of Mae’s ( she runs the barber shop) going on 3 year’s. She does a wonderful job with my curly hair. Sometimes the entrance door is locked because she is in the backroom talking on her phone. Just tap on the front door and she’ll come to the door.

My husband went and got his hair cut once there and was happy with it. Our friends had found out and told us that she starts out great then messes it up and doesn’t listen to what you want done.. and man.. we should have taken their word for it. The owner only takes cash, too cheap to even take cards? Come on. She totally messed up my husbands hair (literally left a small uneven patch on top of his head instead of the fade he had going, and left many hairs everywhere) and as he was checking it out seeing if it was good she demanded “18 dollar bye” so he got annoyed and left. After showering the little hairs off and seeing exactly HOW horrible she did he went back to ask for a refund, “I don’t do refund bye” and according to her yelp doesn’t do anything to her so she approved this message. NEVER WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. We should have listened to our friends so don’t be like us. This rude woman who is careless about her cuts isn’t worth anyone’s time, better off going to the beauty school for a cut from a newbie!

Worst barber ever. Criticized my type of hair, did not cut my hair the way I wanted, and was very stubborn about how she thought my hair should be. She kept telling me to not touch my hair and was very rude. This lady has no manners and needs a lesson in customer service. She spoke to me like I was a child. Above all that my haircut wasn’t right and she forgot to cut my sideburns. Don’t go here. Don’t bring your family here. You’ll regret it. This is your warning. Unacceptable.
