Found Mounia’s Kids Cuts through google and decided to bring my 19month old son for his first haircut on 12/22. I made the morning appointment the previous day with Sonia. The positive reviews did not disappoint. Sonia was great with my son. He sat by himself and although he cried at the beginning (probably because of buzzing sound of the machine), Sonia was really great though out the haircut experience and he was calm by the time she was using the scissors. Sonia was also super fast which made it easy on my son. I will definitely be bringing him back in the near future.

I’ve been taking my 3 year old twin boys here for about a year. Sonia is the best! I don’t know how she does it but my kids are well behaved in her chair! They have some sensory issues and definitely don’t like their ears being messed with. We had tried a bunch of other places but Sonia is the only one that can keep them nice and calm and of course give them a cute hair cut! She is very sweet and I’m so happy to have found her! Also, she is super affordable which, of course, helps a lot, but that’s not the reason we go there! She is truly good at what she does! She can give both my kids haircuts with zero tears or whining and that is a small miracle!

Sonia is an amazing barber, and most importantly, she is great with kids. We have brought our kids to her on several occasions and they love her! As we all know, finding a baber who possess great patience is not always easy to find. I can honestly tell you, she has it. I highly recommend Mounia’s Kids Cuts 1997 for all ages!!!

I am shocked this is a “kids” haircut business. The owner was rushing and not sympathetic to my 1.5 year old son who was getting his 2nd haircut ever and was scared and nervous. She was so rough with him, and she told me not to comfort my son because “I would make it worse”… I told her to just finish it up because my son was too upset, at that point I just wanted to leave, and she started yelling at me saying I wasn’t ethical?? My poor son left traumatized! On top of it all, his hair cut is choppy and uneven. We will never return and I hope this review warns others.
