Love this salon! I don’t live in the area but I work over here and figured I would join so I could tan after work or on my lunch break. The staff are super friendly and the salon is always very clean and well put together. The beds are the BEST that I have ever used – in quality and upkeep. Wish I lived closer, but I will happily stop in when I am in the area.

I have been an employee here for the past 14 months, and had tanned at this location for 2 months before being hired. As a customer, the employees were pleasant to talk to and very helpful. I was used to tanning in Grand Rapids, and compared to there, these prices are extremely reasonable for the type of equipment that is provided. There is a great variety of lotions as well to fit any price range. Seeing how nice the employees were and how clean and well kept the salon was, I decided to turn in an application and work there part time. After a few months I was offered a full time position and it has been overall a good decision. The owner has been helpful with scheduling around my school classes as well as being understanding for family emergencies (especially when my father had a stroke last March). The new manager Kasey is also great to work under. I’m very thankful to be working here with great bosses, a great facility, and wonderful customers who now know me by my first name and are always smiling when they come to tan!

I love this tanning salon!!! I’m not huge on tanning often, but I’ve had a lot of experience throughout the years. And this place is my favorite! I love that they’re affordable they always have specials running and great packages. I’ve tanned in the beds, which are phenomenal, but it takes a while for me to tan, so I prefer the mystic tan! A spray tan for $35!?!? Can’t beat that! I do wish the spray tans lasted a little longer though! But I’m always going to come back

This salon is incredible! Super friendly staff that are very knowledgeable. The owner is very sweet and approachable. The salon is very up to date and clean, I feel like I’m in L.A. yet, extremely reasonable prices. The spray tan booth there gives me a flawless tan and I constantly get compliments on how great my complexion looks! Highly recommend this salon!

Been tanning here for a few months now and I love it! The high pressure bed is amazing and they carry a variety of tanning lotion and face lotions. They run a lot of cool specials too, like tandem tanning tuesday’s where you can bring in a friend to tan at your package level for free. They also run different promotions every Thursday. Sometimes it’s a lotion discount or upgrade promos. Definitely my new favorite tanning spot.

Great local tanning salon, the staff is super nice and helpful. The bulbs are strong and do not burn bad even if you are white. I love the tanning lotion that they sold me it smells so good.

I went to another tanning salon to use a coupon that a promoter gave me. Since I used that tanning salon years ago, they wouldn’t honor it. So I called Motor City. The girl that answered was pleasant and cheerful. She gave good information that made me stop in. She took the time to go over each bed indivually. So I didn’t overpay for something I didn’t need. The place was clean and spacious. They offered towels, baby wipes and free eye wear. Very happy that I called and came in. Will defiantly be back!
