Positive: QualityThis review is very overdue. Nicole Antoinette is amazing. She’s the first stylist that’s gotten my cut right since college! I like a roughed-up A-line with a really sharp angle, quite short in the back, but I haven’t found a stylist that would do it right in years. I always end up with more of a basic bob. I brought in some pictures and Nicole nailed it. I love how she cuts my hair. She takes her time and gets every last straggling hair, and I never find myself looking in the mirror later saying, “Oh, there’s a part she missed.” She’s technically skilled, fun to talk to, and my hair looks amazing even when I do it myself, at home. This review is very overdue. Nicole Antoinette is amazing. She’s the first stylist that’s gotten my cut right since college! I like a roughed-up A-line with a really sharp angle, quite short in the back, but I haven’t found a stylist that would do it right in years. I always end up with more of a basic bob. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityI have had the privilege of Nicole styling my hair for over a decade now, and am thrilled of how she’s transformed my hair. Having thin hair, it is so easy for it to be over-processed and damaged, but once I started going to Nicole, I found out how a true professional can change one’s hair. The combination of her incredible technique and meticulous nature, means I always leave the salon with natural-looking, gorgeous hair. Her cuts are precise and still look great even if I go too long between cuts; and she is truly a genius when it comes to color. On top of the amazing work she does to my hair, she is super fun and easy to talk to! She has made it so I no longer dread going to the salon. I have had the privilege of Nicole styling my hair for over a decade now, and am thrilled of how she’s transformed my hair. Having thin hair, it is so easy for it to be over-processed and damaged, but once I started going to Nicole, I found out how a true professional can change one’s hair. The combination of her incredible technique and meticulous nature, means I always leave the salon with natural-looking, gorgeous hair. Her cuts are precise and still look great even if I go too long between cuts; and she is truly a genius when it comes to color. He’s an incredible and skillful stylist who worked with me to help me better understand my own hair, by showing me how to blow dry my hair properly, how to style my bangs, etc. I have never been to a hairstylist who empowered me so much with such valuable information. Also, I’m so immensely grateful for his honesty about what was realistic for the style I wanted with the hair type I have, and it’s current state. I was able to fully manage expectations because sometimes it’s a process before getting to the end result, and his candor was absolutely refreshing.It’s difficult when you have a hair style that you want, not knowing if it’s achievable with your hair type, or fits your face shape, and you go to see a professional about it, but the stylist doesn’t tell you how/why that won’t actually look the same on you; that being said, I can’t imagine working in their field, dealing with people’s desire and expectations must be absolutely exhausting.Jesse Gaines listened to me fully about what I wanted, what I wanted to avoid, and what my long term hair goals were, while also taking into account my style, face shape, and more. And on top of all that, he’s a wonderful conversationalist. For the first time in a long while, I’m so happy with my hair! He’s an incredible and skillful stylist who worked with me to help me better understand my own hair, by showing me how to blow dry my hair properly, how to style my bangs, etc. I have never been to a hairstylist who empowered me so much with such valuable information. Before that, Sonia had my dark hair a beautiful blonde. Sonia kills it every time, and if there is ever a hiccup she makes it right.
