This is my third visit here. My first two haircuts were great and it seems like the third time is really the most charming. Liz, who cut my hair today, did an amazing job refreshing my curly bob. Those of us with curly hair who live in the San Jose area have to deal with some of the hardest water in the country, which is a curl killer. Liz knew how to cut my hair and style it to bring back the curly bounce I’ve missed. Overall, a cute salon with a relaxing vibe. They don’t have a parking lot so you may want to arrive early; there’s usually ample parking nearby.

Much overdue review! My hair was seriously dry, heat damaged, and had a ton of product build up when I went in for a haircut with Annette. Instead of just cutting my hair and sending me on my way she took the time to get to the bottom of my hair issues and helped me come up with a solution to get my hair healthy again. Annette installed 2 rows. When I asked her about the half row that wasn’t installed she said she threw it away. I’ve been living in the Bay Area for nearly 3 years and I have finally found my salon! I totally went to Sanctuary Salon on a whim based only on Yelp/Google reviews and it was the best decision. Riane was such a huge help. She was able to translate what I wanted and made it happen. The last time I felt this good about my hair was like 5 years ago. She did an amazing job and she’s an equally amazing human. She was easy to talk with and explained the entire process to me. I already scheduled a follow up appointment which I never do! I can’t wait to go back.

I visited Sanctuary Salon for the first time this evening, and I will definitely be back. The receptionists at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxing. Linda, my stylist, was top notch. She cut my hair perfectly. It has been a challenge trying to find a stylist who is able to do an A-line cut well. My last hair cut was choppy and uneven. She was able to fix my hair without going too short. I feel like a million bucks now. Linda is awesome!

I have seen multiple stylists over the years with ample experience, and nobody has taken care of my finicky scalp and hair texture the way that Annette has. Having a busy work schedule and as a mom of two, I don’t get much time to myself. I’ve been coming to the Morgan James Salon and seeing Morgan for about a year. I would usually ask her to touch up my grays and I think I’ve had her trim my hair a couple of times. Point, blank, I’ve kept it quick and simple and basically whatever made me look normal as quickly as possible. Things were different last Friday, I scheduled plenty of “me” time, and I’m very pleased that I did. She asked if I had any ideas on hair color. I explained that I had searched the night before but had not successfully saved any photos. She was sweet and quickly went to her phone, asked me a couple of questions, and was able to gage what would look good and what I would like with my skin tone.
